DEDICATION
Forever and ever
To the freedom
And flow of thoughts
And their expression
Without limitation
Free from confinement
Judgement or restraint
Punishment and shame
To the fearlessness
Of sharing and imparting
Unpopular ideas and opinions
To the courage to stand firm
In one’s own personal truth
Regardless of its darkness
To remaining your own hero
Amidst all of your pain
To speaking your soul
With zero shame
And to a young boy
With so much still to say
Still profoundly amazed
And in wonderment at it all
The floor is all yours
When I grow up, if I do
I want to be just like you.

YOUR AUTHOR
A THING FOR THE OLDER WOMAN
The oldest woman
I have gone out with
Older than me
The gap is of eleven years
That's the biggest gap
My first girlfriend
When I was sixteen
Was twenty-seven
So that's an eleven year gap
I had another girlfriend
Who was fifty
When I would have been
In my late thirties
So that’s touching on
Around the same age gap
Of eleven to twelve years roughly
Now that's for older women
Younger than me
Has been very rare
I can't think of many younger
And if so
It would have been by
Only a couple of years
Three at the most
Predominantly
From a young age
I’ve always been attracted
To older women
And not only
Have I been attracted to them
But it has just gone that way
Throughout my life
In terms of dating
And relationships
It has always been older women
I struggle to think
Of a time or times
Where the women were younger
I know there have been times
But again
It probably wasn't thought about
Because it was only a couple of years
Here and there
Give or take
But mostly older women
The oldest being an eleven
To twelve year gap
Seems I have a thing for the older woman
Or they just have a thing for younger guys
And it just worked out for them.
ALONE ON A DESERT ISLAND
I would have to have something
That allowed me to remain creative
For sure
Pen and paper
I like to think that would be
One of the items I’d have
I need to have
Some kind of pad and pen
Hopefully that would be one item
That’s a must-have for me
I definitely want to be able
To put pen to paper
Anytime I want to
Jot down my thoughts
Make a journal of some kind
Of my day
Or just write down some information
That I want to preserve
So I'd like to have
Some pen and paper to do that
Pencil and paper, whatever
Then, some form of recording device
Either just audio
Or audio and video
Like a compact camera
Definitely preferably
A compact camera
Of some kind
Or any camera
Where I could make videos
And obviously
I could record audio
Through that anyway
So I could actually
Just have the video camera
I don't need
The audio device necessarily
So that's two things
I don't think I'd take a person
Because I don't know how long
I'm going to be there
I don't know how it's going to go
Because human beings are perishable
What if I'm with them
And then they die
I'm taking them away
From where they safely were before
That's a tough one
I don't know if I’d bring a person
I might be better off on my own
I haven't got to worry
I haven't got that responsibility
And they haven't got
That responsibility either
Like if there's no food
And I have to eat them
If there’s no more food
Depending on how long
We are there for
I might get fed up
And want to get rid of them
They may just piss me off
They might not be able to hack it
To cope
In all
