About this ebook
Raised among the words of authors like Lord Tennyson, C. Baudelaire, E. Allan Poe, O. Wilde, Rudyard Kipling, T. S. Eliot, and Victor Hugo, and by a mother who taught her “to arrange the “galloping moments of existence at such verbal angles as to remind the ear that music bows to nothing, not even the whip of misfortune”, Tmbrr(Sì)i does not believe in dates but in the feelings the past holds and that, once brought to light, compel her to write down the words which now with “trembling hands” are being passed to her readers.

State Of The Life - Tmbrr(Sì)i
Preface
Poems are usually considered the product of inspiration, of the uncontrollable force which compels poets to grasp their pen and write down their feelings, letting the paper absorb part of their very being and souls. But poetry is, more often than not, much more than this…for both parts involved. For readers, it’s a deep and meaningful journey into the minds of poets, who, in turn, lay bare their fears, hopes and regrets.
In this case, the poet lets her poems speak for herself, which together, like the pieces of a puzzle, create the portrait of a courageous human being who, come at a time in her life in which she feels fulfilled, doesn’t back down from her past nor the negative events, the pain and the heartbreaks because those are what turned her into the woman she is today.
The main theme of this collection of poems is the romantic love and everything attached to it, including the devastation, the disappointment, the lost battle against sense, and the scars it leaves when it ends in the hearts and minds of those who love completely and unreservedly. And yet… despite the pain and suffering, the poet leaves us a message full of hope by writing: …Broken hearts do not matter, as long as they do not shatter. True love will make it better…

I
Of Knowledge And Blame
I dreamt of an old enemy and woke up in surprise.
I know it is said to enjoy their fall would not be wise.
I had no time to smile at her being labelled far from good.
I was so shocked I still do not know if I understood.
At one time I believed she ruined my life all on her own.
She chopped the magnificent wings on which I would have flown.
I tired of being angry at a foe I could not punch, Resigned myself to the fact that she had had me for lunch, And, as a widow, faced the fact that dark days lay ahead.
A life was lost and an evil bird of myth had been fed.
She would have aged by now with time to think on what she did. But mandibles are formidable on a katydid.
They hone their skills on how to use them in complete success. They are a resource among several and nothing less.
Why then would they be mentioned should this animal confess?
I used my natural weapon to get rid of a princess?
They often say in smugness, I did what I had to do
.
How much of her fault was it, I wonder, since the prince knew? My days cannot keep playing like a broken record, though.
What happened happened, both the victors and the
