Who Are Israelites?

There are two types of Israelites, the physical Israelites which are the children of Jacob and their descendant, the spiritual Israelites which are the genuine born-again believers.  The physical Israelites is a shadow of spiritual Israelites, for God promise to Abraham is that "And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed." So, God is about the whole world, but the physical Israel is chosen to bring forth Yeshua HaMashiach, the source of that blessing and anyone that believe in Him is now qualify as the spiritual Israelites.

And to God Israelites in the end time are the genuine born-again believers who will reign with the Lord in the new world.

INTRODUCTION

WHO ARE ISRAELITES?

To begin with, it is very important to know that God chooses Israel because of the whole world and not because of Israel.

Genesis 22:17-18

17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

And the source of that blessing is Yeshua HaMashiach and not the Jews for the Jews are not meant to bless the whole world but to introduce and to bring forth the Messiah.

So, the real reason for Israel in the first place is Yeshua HaMashiach.

But Israel has been ordained from the beginning as the nation that Yeshua HaMashiach will come from, and it can never be changed.

Yeshua HaMashiach is the one chosen to be the savior and the heir of the new world, which Satan desired so much.

Satan knew this very well and before Israel was chosen, he fought so hard to stop Yeshua from coming but he lost.

Revelation 12:1-4

1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

The child was delivered and was immediately caught up unto heaven with a supreme power.

Revelation 12:5-6

5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

After this failure Satan carried out his long-planned rebel, but he was overcome by the only available blood in heaven, the blood of Yeshua and was casted out to the earth with his angels.

Revelation 12:7-11

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

He pursued the woman to no avail.

Revelation 12:13-16

13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

He could not get the woman, so his final target is the seed of the woman who are genuine believers.

Revelation 12:17

17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

And at the first opportunity he had he beguile Eve and corrupt Adam and thereby corrupt the entire mankind and men now become the enemy of God.

Romans 5:12-21

12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

So, the only way for any man both the Israelites and the Gentile to be reconcile to God is through the blood of Yeshua.

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

And this can be achieved through new birth, you have to be born again.

John 3:3-5

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

But what makes Israel unique is that Israel is the first born of God, God uses Israel to introduce himself back to men, teaches men laws, awareness of sins and to show the greatness of God and finally the coming of the Messiah.

Exodus 4:22-23

22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:

23 And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.

But to God the real Israelites today are the genuine born-again believers.

So, the Israel of the Old Testament are the physical Israelites (Israel by birth) and the Israel of the New Testament are the spiritual Israelites (Israel by promise) and this are the people God is referring to in the end times.

Israel is controversial today not because of the people living in Israel but because of the land of Israel.

God chooses Israel and he make sure they took over the land of Canaan from the Canaanites. He could bless them anywhere for He is God, but he chooses the land of Canaan because of the importance.

Satan knew that this was the location of Garden of Eden because he was in this garden before Adam, and he knows the gate to heaven is in this land though could not access it anymore, but he never gives up trying.

The controversy over Israel begins with Satan even before the birth of Israel (Jacob).

Israel was promised to Abraham as a source of blessing to the whole nations of the world.
