About this ebook
Spiritual Experiences is a compilation of stories where God revealed himself to the author. She experiences many miracles including a vision of Jesus, has a conversation with an angel, and witnesses the power and protection of the holy spirit. Each story describes how God changes her life and acts as a healer and comforter. The author is profoundly honest about her walk with God, her separation from spiritual foundations, and her ultimate redemption and resurgence of faith. The stories will inspire the reader to believe in the omnipotence of a loving God.

This book is dedicated to my father, Ronald George Henderson, who always wanted me to be a writer. And to my mother, Jimmie Sue Henderson, who taught me the meaning of unconditional love.
1 Corinthians 13:12
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
My life forever changed on January 6, 1980. That night, God revealed himself to me in a miraculous way that I couldn’t deny. To witness a miracle can be unsettling. How do you share your experience with others without them calling you crazy? I chose to talk about it, compose a song about it, and now, to write about it.
My sister married into a family of six boys. She married the oldest of the bunch. They were all handsome, humorous, and intelligent. They came to visit my family shortly before the marriage. I was attracted to the second to the youngest boy named Charles. Charlie was three years younger than me. He was cute, sensitive, intelligent, and well educated. He had long blond hair and looked like a typical California surfer. We flirted with each other at our first meeting, but it wasn’t until a year later that we became romantically involved. Charlie was very spiritual. We were very intuitive with one another, often reading each other’s thoughts. He shared with me that he once suffered from out-of-body experiences where he felt as though he traveled back in time.
During one such episode, he came into the presence of Abraham Lincoln who told him to tell others that everything would be all right. He complained to his parents about the experiences because they interrupted his sleep and were beyond his control. His father finally walked through the house with a crucifix and commanded all evil spirits to depart. Then the out-of-body experiences stopped.
The fact that Charlie and I could read each other’s minds frightened me a bit. I wasn’t sure if it was a blessing or a curse. Charlie perceived my fear and told me that he was going to prove to me that our intuitiveness was a gift from God.
One night, we walked from his house located in Tustin to an area known as Old Tustin. There we came upon a church and he said to me, Don’t you feel it? It’s God’s spirit.
At that moment, I felt surrounded by warmth and a feeling of being in the presence of God. I said, Yes! Yes, I do feel it!
He grabbed me by the arm and said we had to go quickly. We ran up the street to another church: the Tustin Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Old Town, Tustin. We stood in the courtyard directly in front of the church feeling overwhelmed by the presence of God.
Charlie said to me, I don’t believe it. There’s God all over this place! Look, there’s Christ!
At that moment, I turned and saw the face of Jesus staring at us. He appeared in front of the doors leading to the sanctuary. He was smiling. His eyes
