Preface
This book is about the meaning of life and the end times in which we are now living. It recounts my search for truth and is my personal testimony to the reader, written with the hope that I can share some truth and inspiration. Receiving Jesus as my Savior and Lord has been my greatest accomplishment in life. I ask the reader to keep an open heart and mind.
This book is also a warning of coming destruction to the world as we know it, a warning that hell is real. The good news is that, with Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we can be forgiven. Because of Jesus, we can live with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for eternity.
The end of time itself is drawing to a close. My greatest hope is that through this book the reader will get to know our Lord Jesus and learn some truth about Him. Jesus is the only way to heaven. Hell is real, and it is eternal. If my book can save one soul from eternal torment, the effort to write it will have been worth it.
After God showed me the truth, I sold one of my houses, quit my job, and began to study full-time from the Bible and scientific research. I have studied to be a minister and have built my own church. Now I have written this book. All this I have done for the glory of God and to help my fellow brothers and sisters find the truth.
May God bless the reader of this book.
Chapter 1
Searching for Truth
I was brought up in a Christian family, but my parents were not Christian. My grandmother was Christian and was involved with the church. My grandparents on my dad’s side were Christian, but they didn’t talk about it often. As a child I was raised in Toronto, Ontario, in Canada.
We lived in a haunted house on Pickering Street. I was too young to recall the encounters, but my parents and grandparents have stories to tell. I had to be moved out of my room because it was unnaturally cold and I had nightmares there. One time a boiling pot of water fell off the stove by itself. My parents witnessed bobby pins falling out of midair. My dad, being calm and cool, claimed, As long as it’s not dropping bricks, we will be okay.
My mother reported that she was drying her hair when a table started moving on its own. My grandmother would not go upstairs one day, because she felt an evil presence.
There was another haunted house in my childhood—an old, spooky house in New Brunswick. It was already furnished with very old furniture, and the bedrooms were in the attic. My parents were staying there with my aunt and uncle, when they heard noises in the night. Each couple thought the noises were made by the others, but in the morning, they all confirmed that no one had gotten up.
In the same house, I had the worst nightmare of my life. I was about ten years old. In my dream, a force tried to possess me. At about four a.m., I woke up crying and then woke the whole family—and we stayed up. I told my mother what had happened in the dream, and she was astonished because she’d had the same dream.
My wife has been a witness to many miracles that have happened to me. She has also been inappropriately touched by a demonic presence. After that, we left the house and went to the lake. That seemed to work.
My family disregards all of these strange occurrences of the unknown. They don’t seem to care or think much about it. So I took it upon myself to dig for the truth of what life was all about. I was in my late teens when I read the Bible and many other books about Buddhism and various religions, but I didn’t find a clear answer.
I experimented with drugs, with an open mind to the spiritual realm. One night we had a party and indulged in drugs. I would like to point out that drugs may help one see the supernatural, but I would not recommend it. I think it is a shortcut, and nothing beats prayer and fasting as a proper way to seek God.
One guest was into the occult, and he told us strange stories. I personally didn’t like him for his dark, occult side. As we enjoyed the night, he went to the washroom. He was gone a long time, so I went to check on him. As I went into the room, I saw that
