About this ebook

The book "48 Prophecies of God about His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ" explains how a person can assure themselves the ernal State of Heaven. The Mathematician, Peter J Stoner calculated that for Jesus to fulfill 48 of the Old Testament Prophets prophecies is one chance in an astronomical figure of one chance in one trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion.

To put that in a physical realm, it would be like a blindfolded person picking out the one designated coin from a stack of coins measuring two feet high covering the entire State of Texas.

But Christ goes beyond statistics, as He was raised from the dead after three days. And you, too, can be raised from the dead if you have the faithful belief in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

    PREFACE

T here are hundreds of predictions in the Old Testament about Christ’s coming. This particular book covers 48 of those prophecies. There are literally hundreds of commandments, yet we basically only deal with the Ten Commandments in conforming to our daily life. As the hundreds of commandment were reduced down to ten, this book shortens the 300+ prophecies into 48 to allow the reader to understand and see more easily a clear picture of the validity of Christ’s Lordship over the world.

To confirm that the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies by Jesus is not by mere accident, mathematician Peter J. Stoner calculated that the probability for anyone to fulfill only 8 of 48 prophecies would be one chance in one hundred million billion. To fulfill all 48 of the prophecies in the Old Testament about the coming of Christ is an astronomical figure of one chance in one trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion.

To give you a physical idea of how non-practical it would be for someone else to fulfill all 48 prophecies, it would be like a blindfolded person picking out one marked coin from a stack of coins measuring two feet high covering the entire state of Texas. But Christ goes beyond statistics - for he was raised from the dead after three days.

Some of the prophecies may seem unbelievable or far-fetched, but you must remember that the Bible is not created by man. It is composed by Almighty God... A God where one thousand years is but a day... A God who knows and lives the past, present and future at one time. For a prophecy to be acceptable, it must withstand three basic tests:

    1. It must unveil a future in a manner that only Almighty God (not man) could have devised.

    2. The prophecy must have sufficient detail to eliminate any clever guesswork.

    3. There must be a lapse of time between the prophecy and the fulfillment so that the prophet could not have affected its final outcome.

In FULFILLED: The 48 Prophecies of God About His Only Begotten Son, Jesus, you will see where Jesus completed the largest and yet the smallest details prophesied in the Old Testament. As you read, think of how practical it would be for someone to fulfill some of the prophecies ... and how impossible it would be to fulfill all of them with the chronology and time elements set for them. Only Jesus could have had the genetic spiritual key to unlock and fulfill all the prophecies. As He said, I have fulfilled all that was written about me in the Law of Moses, the prophets and the Psalms.

No one knows for sure why Almighty God decided to secretly conceal Jesus in the Old Testament scriptures or why various manifestations of Christ’s awareness in the Bible are not in any straight time span. The Lord Jesus is revealed in the Law of Moses, in the various books of the prophets and in the Book of Psalms.

One has to read and examine closely the individual Old Testament
