Helge Thorsen er en norsk forfatter. Etter å ha vært bonde på gården Madsoy i mange år, begynte han å arbeide i offentlige virksomheter. Han har hatt ledende stillinger både innenfor statlige og kommunale myndigheter i Norge. Helge Thorsen er utdannet jurist og har i tillegg en mastergrad innenfor offentlig forvaltning. Etter et langt yrkesliv er han nå delvis pensjonist. Ideen om å skrive barnebøker om tiden på gårdsbruket, der hovedkarakteren Tsar Pegasus opptrer, fikk han mens han var skipper på en charterbåt og seilte i Karibien i 2023. I denne serien blir gården og det daglige livet der brukt som bakteppe for historiene. Tsar Pegasus-serien vil til slutt bestå av 6 til 7 bøker. Helge har også skrevet en bok som er utgitt på eget forlag. I tillegg har han en roman og en krimbok som så langt kun eksisterer som manuskripter."

Tsar meets Teodor.

The sun rose over the horizon, casting shadows on the dewy pasture. The blades of grass shone like thousands of little lights across the field.

Tsar Pegasus raised his head, his nostrils quivering as he caught a new and strange scent. Not far away, a large bull named Theodore grazed by himself in the shade of a tree.

When Tsar caught sight of the bull standing by himself, he said to himself, here is a new friend I can get to know. Tsar's tail swished back and forth with anticipation. Hello! he called out cheerfully. I'm Tsar Pegasus.

Teodor stopped chewing to give Tsar a careful look. He grunted in response, continuing to munch on the grass. Tsar's eyes lit up with excitement, and he trotted closer, his hooves making a soft, rhythmic sound on the ground. What do you like to do around here on the farm?

Teodor swiveled his ears, stomping the ground beneath him. Let me be, young foal. I prefer to be on myself.

Oh, come on now, Tsar pleaded. I'm sure we can have lots of fun together. He playfully pranced around, trying to lure the bull into games.

With a snort, Teodor turned away, walking farther off to put some distance between them. I'm not interested in your games. Leave me be.

Tsar let out a deep sigh but made a silent promise to himself that he wouldn't give up. He was determined to become friends with Theodore, as he was sure there was more to this bull than met the eye. He just needed to be patient and find the right way to connect with him. Tsar vowed he'd get through to Teodor eventually. For now, though, he had to wait.

As Tsar galloped off, he shouted, See you later, Teodor!
