The Brave Knight
Max was a little boy with big dreams. For as long as he could remember, he had been fascinated by knights and their stories.
He loved reading books about it and watching movies where brave knights fought dangerous dragons and evil sorcerers.
Max often imagined what it would be like to be a knight himself, riding through the lands on horseback in shining armor.
Unfortunately, there was a problem: Max was small and thin and not exactly the strongest boy in his class. When he told his friends that he wanted to be a knight, they laughed at him. You are far too weak and too small for this,
they said, making fun of him. Max felt discouraged and sad. He thought that maybe his friends were right and that he could never become a knight.
But Max didn't give up. He decided to pursue his dream and not let others stop him. He knew it wouldn't be easy and that he needed a lot of practice and training to get stronger and faster. But he was willing to do anything to become a brave knight.
And so Max began his adventure. He read more books about knights and studied their techniques and tactics. He started exercising every day and strengthening his muscles. He practiced sword fighting and archery and learned to ride horses.
Whenever he ran into his friends and they laughed at him, he just ignored them and focused on his goal. He knew he still had a lot to learn and that it would be a long road, but he was determined not to give up.

Because Max knew he was a great boy and that if he worked hard enough and believed in himself, he could achieve anything he set his mind to. And who knows - maybe one day he would actually become a brave knight and fight against evil forces.
The next day, when Max was out in nature, he heard a pathetic whine and followed the sound. Eventually he found a small dog stuck on a rock and unable to free himself. He felt sorry from the bottom of his heart for the poor dog, but the rock was much too high and steep for him to save the dog. He didn't know what to do, so he started turning to walk back. But the dog's whimpering haunted him and he couldn't just leave him alone.
How can I save that dog up there?
Max asked himself.
4
It's far too dangerous. I could hurt myself. But if I don't save him, he'll die.
Max stood and thought. Suddenly he remembered his favorite knight's motto: Courage is the key to success
. Max realized that now he had to be brave to save the dog.
I can do this,
Max said to himself. I'm going to save this dog no matter what.
Max started to climb the rock. It was difficult and dangerous, but he didn't give up. Finally he reached the dog and was able to free him safely from his predicament. The dog happily wagged its tail and licked Max's face.
It almost seemed as if the dog wanted to say thank you for saving me
.
Max felt incredibly proud of himself. He had overcome his fear and saved the dog. It was an incredible feeling to be brave and do something good. Max knew he would definitely do well as a knight once he grew up enough.

The dog accompanied Max all the way home. Max's friends were impressed by what he
