About this ebook
Living on a bustling farm alongside pigs, sheep, and geese, Spike the donkey yearns to be more than just an ordinary farm animal. Just beyond the fences lies a racetrack where majestic horses thunder by, participating in exhilarating races. Spike is enchanted by these graceful creatures and frequently sneaks away to watch them train and compete.
As time goes by, Spike forms a special bond with the horses and starts imitating their every move. With unwavering determination, he begins his own rigorous training regime, striving to become just like the horses he admires. His attempts at galloping may seem comical, for a donkey isn't designed for horse racing, but Spike's spirit remains unshaken.
One fateful day, disaster strikes as illness befalls one of the horses right before an important race. With no replacement available, desperation sets in. Surprisingly, Spike steps forward, offering himself as a substitute. The race organizers hesitate, unsure about entrusting a donkey with such a responsibility.
However, with no other options, they reluctantly give Spike a chance to prove his mettle.
With determination shining in his eyes, Spike takes his place among the magnificent horses at the starting line
