Brave Beaky and the Mango Island
In a cozy little nest near the busy city of Mumbai, lived a young parakeet named Beaky. Beaky was brave and kind, always taking care of his old parents who could no longer fly far to fetch food for themselves.
Every morning, Beaky would flutter his wings to a nearby grove, racing with other birds and playful monkeys to grab the tasty fruits. But as days went by, finding good fruit became a tough game.
One bright morning, while perched on a high hill, Beaky saw a faraway island filled with shiny mango trees. The sight filled his heart with excitement, and off he flew, dreaming of sweet mangoes for his parents.
Reaching the island, Beaky feasted on delicious mangoes and filled his tiny sack with more for his parents. When he returned, his father recognized the unusual mangoes and worriedly said, Beaky, did you fly to that distant island?
Yes, Father, but the mangoes there were amazing!
chirped Beaky.
His father warned him of the dangers and made him promise not to go back to the island.
But the next morning, the sweet taste of mangoes filled Beaky’s thoughts, and off he flew to the island again, breaking his promise. There, he saw the biggest mango ever and plucked it for his parents.
With a heavy mango and a full belly, Beaky struggled to fly back. His wings ached, and he grew tired. As he neared the shore, a big wave swept him away into the ocean.
Back home, his parents waited, and their hearts heavy with worry. They missed their brave little Beaky, whose daring adventure
