Description

Season 1: Old Favorite FairytalesA literary fairy tale by Hans Christian Anderson first published in 1860. A famous poet had a pen and an inkstand. The pen and the inkstand used to continuously fight as to who was the greatest of the two. The inkstand thought that if it was not for him, men would never have produced such great stories and become famous. The pen argued that the inkstand only provided the raw material. What they forgot was the true master and creator, the poet! Moral of the story: how often do we boast of taking credit for our creations, forgetting that we are actually an instrument in the hands of the biggest creator—God!”The Junior Classics is a rescue operation to preserve the wisdom in the Classics before it is lost forever. Our goal is to inspire children with a love of good reading and a real and lasting interest in Western history, literature, and scholarship. My hope is to empower you, the parents, with a resource you can trust to enrich your child’s mind and spirit. We don’t want these stories lost so our children don’t have to learn these lessons on their own.The most important thing you can do for us is to spread the message and tell others about these stories and what we are doing.
