Season 2: Tales from Around the World  We continue our focus on Tales from England with an Irish tale called The Three Sons by Lady Gregory. A King is stricken with sickness. He calls his three sons and tells them the only thing that can save him is the apples from Burnett's orchard. He sends his sons in search of the healing apples. Moral of the story - The Junior Classics is a rescue operation to preserve the wisdom in the Classics before it is lost forever. Our goal is to inspire children with a love of good reading and a real and lasting interest in Western history, literature, and scholarship.
