Celebrating Thanksgiving with Poetry - Walter the Educator
One
gratitude bestowed
In autumn's gentle embrace we gather near,
With hearts of gratitude, our spirits sincere.
A feast of blessings, a time to reflect,
Thanksgiving arrives, our souls reconnect.
The table is laden with nature's delight,
A symphony of flavors, a savory sight.
From roasted turkey to cranberry sauce,
Each dish a reminder of love's sweet pause.
Family and friends, hand in hand,
We share laughter and stories, a joyous band.
Memories woven, like threads of gold,
In this tapestry of love, our hearts unfold.
We give thanks for abundance bestowed,
For the harvest's yield, our hearts overflowed.
The blessings we count, too many to name,
For health, for love, and for life's sweet game.
In gratitude's embrace, we find our way,
To cherish the moments, come what may.
Through trials and triumphs, we remain strong,
United as one, where we all belong.
So let us raise a toast, this Thanksgiving morn,
To love, to joy, and to moments reborn.
May gratitude guide us on life's winding road,
As we gather in love, in gratitude bestowed.
Two
filled with gratitude
Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful,
For all the blessings we have received.
It's a time to gather with those we cherish,
And share in the joys that we've achieved.
The table is set with a feast so grand,
Turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce.
As we join hands to give thanks and praise,
Our hearts are filled with love and grace.
We remember those who are far away,
And cherish the memories of those who've passed.
But we also look to the future with hope,
And cherish the moments that we have.
For Thanksgiving is not just a day,
But a reminder to count our blessings.
To cherish the love that surrounds us,
And to be grateful for every
