I want to dedicate this book to my wife of forty-five years, my children, my grandchildren, my church, and my entire family. They have given me many more reasons to continue my work for the Lord. Without the Lord, nothing would have been possible for me. He has walked with me, talked with me, and directed my steps many times. He is my waymaker, my strength, my healer, my soon-coming king.

This book is a truth- and faith-based book that I am sure will increase your faith and increase the importance of all Christians standing for only the truth. This book will answer many truthful biblical questions for all readers. My prayer is that this book will reach the lost and help bring in the harvest of souls. Chapter 1

Let God Be True and Every Man a Liar

We must let God be true over all thoughts, theories, imaginations, and opinions of all people.

FOR WHAT IF SOME DID NOT BELIEVE? SHALL THEIR UNBELIEF MAKE THE FAITH OF GOD WITHOUT EFFECT? GOD FORBID; YEA, LET GOD BE TRUE, BUT EVERY MAN A LIAR. (Romans 3:3–4)

If we follow God's instructions, God will be able to fulfill His promises. God's faith will work according to our obedience and how much of God's Word we believe.

God's Word is our foundation for all our needs to be supplied and to receive all of God's promises. We must be sure we are standing on our word foundation because the storms of life are coming.

CASTING DOWN IMAGINATIONS, AND EVERY HIGH THING THAT EXALTETH ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD AND BRINGING INTO CAPTIVITY EVERY THOUGHT TO THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST. (2 Corinthians 10:5)

When I went to the church on January 25, 1979, I had been listening to a lot of preaching and my faith was sky-high. I was ready to be saved; when I walked through the church door, I knew I was there for a purpose.

I had decided to let God be true, and I gave my heart completely to the Lord. I had taken God at His Word. I had no doubt I was completely yielded to the call of God in my heart and soul. I had decided to let God be true over all my thoughts and fears. I wanted to be introduced to Jesus; I had heard so much about Him. When I went to the altar, I went with the purpose of receiving salvation from the Lord. I was no longer halted between two opinions. I had decided to serve the Lord.

ELIJAH CAME TO ALL THE PEOPLE, AND SAID, HOW LONG HALT YE BETWEEN TWO OPINIONS? IF THE LORD BE GOD FOLLOW HIM; BUT IF BAAL, THEN FOLLOW HIM. AND THE PEOPLE ANSWERED HIM NOT A WORD. CALL YE ON THE NAME OF YOUR GODS, AND I WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD; AND THE GOD THAT ANSWERETH BY FIRE, LET HIM BE GOD. AND ALL THE PEOPLE ANSWERED AND SAID, IT IS WELL SPOKEN. (1 Kings 18:21, 24)

Elijah knew God would be true to His Word by faith.

HEAR ME, O LORD. HEAR ME, THAT THIS PEOPLE MAY KNOW THAT THOU ART THE LORD GOD, AND THAT THOU HAST TURNED THEIR HEART BACK AGAIN. THEN THE FIRE OF THE LORD FELL, AND CONSUMED THE BURNT SACRIFICE, AND THE WOOD, AND THE STONES, AND THE DUST, AND LICKED UP THE WATER THAT WAS IN THE TRENCH. AND WHEN ALL THE PEOPLE SAW IT, THEY FELL ON THEIR FACES; AND SAID, THE LORD, HE IS GOD, THE LORD, HE IS GOD. (1 Kings 18:37–39)

I have noticed young Christians in their walk with God allowing God to be true without great concern of what someone may say until the devil came with his bids for their soul. Your first love and joy in the Lord is your strength. If you have left your first love, turn back seeking God to restore your first love and joy.

NEVERTHELESS, I HAVE SOMEWHAT AGAINST THEE, BECAUSE THOU HAST LEFT THY FIRST LOVE. (Revelation 2:4)

Let God be true; His truth will lead all of us to eternal life with Him. When we reject God's truth, we are rejecting eternal life and the greatest friend we have in this life and the life to come. Jesus is the living truth.

FOR THE LORD IS GOOD; HIS MERCY IS EVERLASTING; AND HIS TRUTH ENDURETH TO ALL GENERATIONS. (Psalm 100:5)

FOR HIS MERCIFUL KINDNESS IS GREAT TOWARD US: AND THE TRUTH OF THE LORD ENDURETH FOR EVER. PRAISE YE THE LORD. (Psalm 117:2)

The only possible way the devil can deny us of God's promises in His Word is with our help. We can help the devil by tying God's hands with fear, doubt, frustrations, sin, or disobedience to God's truth.

Our Second Eden

We did not get the opportunity to live in the First Eden, but Jesus has bridged the gap on Calvary's cross for all people to live with Him forever beginning in our Second Eden. Adam and Eve were the first to be created with a living soul, but they failed God, and humanity lost the opportunity to live in the First Eden. Christians, if we can only imagine what God has planned for us, our reward will be for eternity if we are willing to serve the Lord.

When we enter our Second Eden or heaven, we will have a glorified body that will never grow old or die with divine eternal blood flowing in our body. We will never have to use faith trying to overcome fear, doubt, sickness, or disease. We will never see another child or adult with cancer, diabetes, heart trouble, stress, or depression. We will never be crying watching a loved one or friend die or attend another funeral.

GOD SHALL WIPE AWAY ALL TEARS FROM THEIR EYES; AND THERE SHALL BE NO MORE DEATH, NEITHER SORROW, NOR CRYING, NEITHER SHALL THERE BE ANY MORE PAIN: FOR THE FORMER THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY. AND HE THAT SAT UPON THE THRONE SAID, BEHOLD I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW. AND HE SAID UNTO ME, WRITE: FOR THESE WORDS ARE TRUE AND FAITHFUL. (Revelation 21:4, 5)

Our Second Eden will be heaven; we will be living in God's presence. Do you want to live forever in our Second Eden? Jesus and loved ones who died with the Lord will be there. Salvation is free, but God's price for us is to serve Him, denying ourselves and bearing our cross, seeking to win the lost.

We can only imagine living in our Second Eden without worry or care about bad news coming to us. Can you imagine living without the thought of death ever entering your mind, knowing that you have eternal life abiding in you through the blood of Jesus? Why would anyone risk living in a land of complete joy and peace forever for pleasures in sinful flesh?

HE THAT OVERCOMETH SHALL INHERIT ALL THINGS; AND I WILL BE HIS GOD, AND HE SHALL BE MY SON. (Revelation 21:7)

Can we imagine living in our Second Eden where there is no night?

AND THERE SHALL BE NO NIGHT THERE; AND THEY NEED NO CANDLE, NEITHER LIGHT OF THE SUN; FOR THE LORD GOD GIVETH THEM LIGHT: AND THEY SHALL REIGN FOR EVER AND EVER. AND HE SAID UNTO ME, THESE SAYINGS ARE FAITHFUL AND TRUE: AND THE LORD GOD OF THE HOLY PROPHETS SENT HIS ANGEL TO SHEW UNTO HIS SERVANTS THE THINGS WHICH MUST SHORTLY BE DONE. (Revelation 22:5–6)

I am not looking forward to dying, but I am looking forward to living with Jesus in our Second Eden and walking and talking with Him each day.

AND BEHOLD, I COME QUICKLY; AND MY REWARD IS WITH ME, TO GIVE EVERY MAN ACCORDING AS HIS WORK SHALL BE. (Revelation 22:12)

My reward will be getting through those pearly gates and being able to see Jesus. We must give our
