Chapter 1: University Life and Sexual Exploration

At the age of 18, I ventured into the vibrant city of St. Petersburg, lured by its promises of excitement and new beginnings. Leaving behind the familiarity of my small working-class town, I eagerly embraced the pulsating energy that flowed through the city's streets. Fueled by youthful enthusiasm, irresistible charm, and a yearning for love, I wholeheartedly embraced the captivating atmosphere that enveloped me.

Amidst the bustling streets, fate intervened, introducing me to Polina, a captivating young woman. Our connection ignited like a spark, and for the next three transformative years, we embarked on a passionate dance of self-discovery and growth.

In 2009, as my university studies ended, the romantic relationship between Polina and me started to lose its intensity, and we no longer had the long-term commitment that we had imagined before. Just months before our love story crumbled completely, my father presented me with a life-altering opportunity: to study in Canada. In my youthful naivety, I adamantly turned down these proposals. How could I abandon the thriving relationships and contentment I found in my current world for an unknown journey to Canada?

I resisted until the very end, but ultimately, I became the architect of our relationship's demise right before completing university. It was an inevitable outcome, considering my unfaithfulness surpassed that of any renowned womanizer. One particular day, Polina ventured to the countryside to visit her parents, and I was scheduled to join her the following day. Instead of waiting, I chose to spend my time at a club with my friends. There, I encountered a striking young woman and impulsively invited her back to my place. Our encounter led to a night of passionate, alcohol-fueled intimacy. Despite everything going smoothly, there was one minor setback: in the midst of our intense passion, she accidentally left deep bloody scratches on my back.

My back was adorned with giant scratches as if a tigress had clawed me and I had luckily survived. Undeterred, I stuck to my plans and went to see Polina. It was summer, and at one point, I momentarily forgot and took off my shirt, prompting curious inquiries. How would I explain these scratches? Would I say I had gone hunting with men and engaged in a skirmish with a she-bear?
