‘I NEVER IMAGINED I’D HAVE A SECOND CHANCE AT LOVE’
Jane O’Sullivan-Wallace, 50, is a part-time hospice nurse and mother of three.
When I met Con, aged 34, I imagined that that was ‘it’ for life. But, on Easter weekend 2016, he said he was feeling ‘bleugh’, and went to bed. A few days later, he was yellow with jaundice. We paid for a scan and, 48 hours after that, Con received the news that he had pancreatic cancer.
He died three weeks later.
