About this ebook

After battling giant spiders and goblins, Peyton, Robyn, and Willow pass through the Dark Forest and arrive at Odmor, where they rent a room in a rowdy tavern. Two of Peyton's fellow butch knights from the knight academy show up, and as Peyton falls helplessly in love with dorky, gentle Willow, Knight Aida can't keep her eyes off of Robyn . . . or her hands. Their blossoming romance is jeopardized, however, when witch hunters arrive in town. Don't miss the second installment of this lesbian fantasy romance series!

Robyn's big breasts heaved with an angry breath. "I've no intention of dropping my 'knickers' for the likes of you!" she indignantly hurled, little hands balling up into tight fists on her horse's reins. Robyn had such cute little hands, Peyton thought, and yet they were capable of hurling fireballs that could melt her face off.

"Either way, we must rally together," added Suvera. "Our numbers will give us greater strength. As I am sure you know, witch hunters are not a game, and Peyton will have little chance against them alone."

"She is not alone," said Robyn indignantly. "She is in the company of two mighty sorceresses!" She bristled when Suvera and Aida chuckled, and Peyton shook her head in weary amusement.

"Willow and I aren't exactly useless," Robyn angrily insisted.

"No offense, my lady, but you are," said Suvera.

"Witch hunters will have ways to render you helpless," Aida patiently explained.

"Shall I be the one to make sweet love to you, fair lady?" Peyton whispered with soft affection. "Shall you command this of me?" She took her hand away. "Tell me thy will."

Heart pounding in her ears, Robyn whispered through trembling lips, "Y-Yes."

"Yes, what?" Peyton teased.

Suddenly annoyed, Robyn turned her head and glared over her shoulder at Peyton as she said almost angrily, "Yes, I command you to make love to me—!" The last word was crushed in her mouth when Peyton suddenly kissed her.

    About the Author

    Chapter 1

The ancient portal took them several miles across the immensity of the Dark Forest, saving them at least three days of walking and camping. Robyn was quite pleased with herself for her astute predictions. If they kept on schedule, they would reach Odmor fairly quickly and would be one step closer to Theremoor – and their freedom.

As they traveled through the Dark Forest, they were attacked at least twice by drooling goblins, who wore necklaces made of wolf teeth and shabby loincloths made of fur, who carried crude spears and bows and axes. The Knight of Fire made short work of them, leaping forward with shield and sword and taking off their heads. Many of the goblins surrendered and ran squealing, little green hands in the air, and Robyn couldn’t believe it when the knight allowed them to flee.

No mercy, Robyn whispered to herself, and stepping forward, she sent fireball after fireball rocketing from her hands, her sleeves flaring like wings as she waved. The fireballs hit the fleeing goblins square in their backs, and they poofed into piles of ash, their screams abruptly cut short.

In the silence that followed, Robyn looked around to see Peyton staring at her, shield and sword forgotten, with an odd mixture of terror and amazement. Willow, however, looked like a wolf in heat, and the sight of her best friend’s eyes blazing behind her spectacles made Robyn tingle beneath her gown.

Robyn awkwardly cleared her throat and led her tawny mare on. Come, she said, passing the others, Odmor isn’t far now.

Unfortunately, however, Odmor was much farther than Robyn had predicted. When she stopped to look at the map, it was to realize she had brought them out at the wrong stone portal. They were at least twenty miles off and would have to camp for the night. The sun was sinking already beyond the trees as they walked.

But at least they were safe here in the forest, Robyn told herself. Despite the goblins and giant spiders and orcs, they were safe. It was the cities they had to be wary of, for while Brine was an oaf who couldn’t track her own shadow, she would find them easily enough in the city. They were a Knight of Fire and two sorceresses of the Flame. They would stick out, people would notice them, word would spread, and no doubt there were already Wanted posters all along the roads. Word spread fast whenever a sorceress fled her duty.

This is taking longer than I thought. I hope we don’t see anymore giant spiders, Willow said, shrugging up her shoulders and shivering. She was walking beside Robyn beneath the web of shadows in the dusk, and she was guiding her white mare on foot by the reins. Robyn could barely see her
