About this ebook

The Bluesman - musician, magician, lethal killer. Thrown into our world from a parallel universe, the Bluesman seeks to save the Earth from being overrun by the horrid, mutated creatures that came with him. Armed with magic, skill, and his snarky companion, Scotch, he faces these monsters hoping to create a peaceful world for all.

In The Bluesman #4:Hospital Blood Night, Scotch's father suffers a heart attack and ends up at a hospital infested with monsters that love the taste of a dying heart. But for Scotch the battle with his father may end up more dangerous than some monsters from a parallel universe.

The call came at three in the morning. It could only have been bad news. No other type of news comes at three in the morning. Besides, after the horrible week I had endured, getting that call was the cherry on top of a big, crap sundae.

We had been trying to reach Jacksonville, Florida because our location spell had zeroed in on something serious down that way, but at every stop, we encountered work. By we, I mean the magic-wielding, sword-swinging, guitar-playing bluesman Fuller, our new addition, the sexy, former bar waitress who's deadly with a shotgun, Dee, and me. By work, I mean killing monsters from a parallel universe so they don't overrun the Earth. Fuller's from that parallel universe, too (it's a story in itself, some of which I detailed in my first account of our adventures, Killer of Monsters).

So, three days in and we had barely passed Rock Hill, South Carolina. I don't know why monsters liked the Southern US, but they did. We spent every day fighting them off and gaining a little
