Please allow the following to serve as a sort of intermission, as we are just about halfway through The Bedlam Bible. Though only seven books make up this series, the final is a collection that contains a total of twelve stories, making it easily three times the length of the books preceding it. So yes, we are, right now, in the very middle of The Bedlam Bible. So let's try something a little different, shall we?
In this intermission, we're given a song that details the history of a character first introduced in The Astronaut Dream Book, the tricky shapeshifting horror who goes by the name of Old Joe Booth.
By the way, we all are burdened with our own unique variant of Old Joe Booth. Some of you are aware of this already, as you recognized it the moment it squirmed onto the page, however it's quite likely you were unaware of its name until now. There are no introductions when it arrives & no obvious way to push it aside. Its presence often comes unexpected & it's always unwanted.
