Words such as satan and devil are not capitalized, as we choose to not honor or acknowledge him in any way. Also, words such as Kingdom and Church are capitalized, as we choose to highlight that which is associated with our Lord. This we do, even if it means violating grammatical rules.

    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

Writing a book is a labor of love that requires dedication, perseverance, and a great deal of support. As I sit down to pen this acknowledgment, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude for the people who have been there for me.

First and foremost, I want to thank my incredible wife for her unwavering love and support. Since we met, she has been my biggest cheerleader, encouraging me to follow my dreams and pursue my passions. She has been my sounding board, critic, and confidante every step of the way. I am truly blessed to have her by my side. Thank you for the incredible person you are. I love you from the bottom of my heart.

I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to my parents, who have always been my pillars of strength and inspiration. They have taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and integrity and instilled in me a love for Jesus and His Church. Thank you for supporting and believing in me throughout my life. I am forever grateful for your love, guidance, and support.

Finally, I would like to thank all of the Friends, Partners, and Members of DOMINION. Thank you for joining our mission to save lives, impact families, transform societies, and disciple nations. We have accomplished so much together, yet we are only getting started.

This book is a tribute to your love, support, and faith in me, and I hope it brings you as much joy and pride as it does me.

    PREFACE

Are you feeling trapped in a mundane and unfulfilling life? Have you been told to just have faith yet find that the very people preaching this message lack it themselves?

I understand your struggle, as I, too, was raised with such contradictory teachings. Growing up, I was taught phrases like don’t count your chickens before they hatch, don’t get your hopes up, and don’t make any waves. While these may seem like harmless everyday sayings, they were often used to justify a defeatist mentality and a lack of effort toward creating wealth and achieving greatness.

Refusing to accept this way of thinking, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, seeking the truth and making life-changing decisions along the way. Through my experiences and having supernatural encounters with God, I gained a new understanding of life and faith, and now I am sharing it with you.

As a seasoned pastor, brand consultant, business coach, and public speaker, I have dedicated my life to investing in people and helping them realize their full potential. This book reflects that dedication. It is filled with powerful devotions and insights that will challenge you to break free from limiting beliefs and stir up your faith. I believe that every person has a unique gift to offer the world, and by operating in faith, you can unlock your full potential and achieve greatness. So, join me on this journey toward discovering your divine identity, purpose, and destiny. It’s time to stop living a life of defeat and start living a life of dominion.

    BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Many individuals, including Christians, reject the idea of having dominion due to certain misconceptions and misrepresentations. Some mistakenly believe that having dominion implies dominating people and abusing the earth’s resources. To be extremely blunt, God’s original mandate for mankind to have dominion does not permit the domination of people. It also does not allow the irresponsible utilization of the earth’s fauna, flora, and other natural resources.

That being said, God did not mandate mankind to be environmentalists solely. Having dominion over all living creatures and natural resources does not grant authorization to abuse them. True biblical dominion involves responsible stewardship and protection, not exploitation and domination. Yet, we are only scratching the surface of the extraordinary revelation of God’s original mandate:

Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth. (Genesis 1:26-28, NKJV)

    HAVE DOMINION

The concept of dominion is a fundamental biblical principle that defines the identity and purpose of mankind. It is rooted in the first chapter of the Book of Genesis, where God created mankind in His image after His likeness and granted them authority over the earth and all its inhabitants. This principle significantly impacts the role of the Church in the world. The implications of this principle also involve believers having the responsibility to take up and have dominion, exercising it over every aspect of life in accordance with God’s original intent and purpose.

    AT THE OPPOSITE END

Although some Christians are uncomfortable with the idea of having dominion, there is a prominent group of Christians at the opposite end of the spectrum. This group holds a separatist and escapist mentality and thus disengages from society. They have a defeated mindset, proclaiming Maranatha! (Come Lord!) at first sight of any undesirable socio-economic or political situation. They believe the world is inherently evil and will only worsen, as they see satan’s Kingdom as getting stronger while the Church gets weaker. They tend to focus solely on their own salvation, often neglecting the needs of others as a way of withdrawing from the world. Calling for the return of the Lord in haste while you know your own family and friends are unsaved is arguably the highest degree of selfishness.

THE PROBLEMS WITH THE OPPOSING VIEW

There are several issues with the separatist view. Let’s look at only four:

JESUS PROMISED TO BUILD HIS CHURCH

Jesus promised to build His Church. He declared, I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not overpower it (Matthew 16:18). His Church is a legislative assembly summoned and gathered by God. The word Church was not a new term introduced by Jesus during His earthly ministry. In fact, it is not even a religious term but a political and governmental one. Jesus is still the Head of His Church, still building His Church, and the Kingdom of darkness is still powerless to overcome it.

JESUS IS COMING BACK FOR A GLORIOUS CHURCH

Jesus is not returning for a broken-down, lukewarm Church but a glorious one. He is returning for a bride without spot, wrinkle, or blemish. He is returning for a victorious Church that has taken up her dominion and fulfilled her purpose on earth (Ephesians 5:27).

    JESUS SECURED THE VICTORY

Jesus secured the victory and delegated His authority to us (Colossians 2:13-15, Matthew 28:18-20). Jesus gave us as believers the authority to
