  This manuscript is a compilation of ten years of writings on the memo pad on my phone. One year of work on the copy and five weeks of editing. I had no idea that I had any writing skills. At all. Ten years ago I awoke from a dream I really couldn't remember. The dream was about my wife, Mary Jo, who had died eleven years prior.

I'm 71 and was fortunate to be raised by a Father and Mother who were old enough to be my grandparents. The subject of God never came up but they taught me a prayer at a very young age, "Now I lay me down to sleep I pray to you Lord my soul to keep if I should die before I awake I pray oh Lord my soul to take."
