ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I want to thank the following three individuals for their wonderful teachings and whose ideas, merged together, are the foundation of this book.
Jaspreet Singh, The Minority Mindset
Dave Ramsey, The Dave Ramsey Show
Jay Garvens, The Jay Garvens Show
From their YouTube videos, books, and radio shows, I have taken the principles learned and put them to work in real estate investing.
We started with a net worth of about $200,000 in 2017. Now, just five short years later, our 2022 net worth is well over $2 million. We had been unsuccessful the first 55 years of our lives, trying to invest in the stock market, mutual funds, and insurance. This time we wanted to invest in non-paper assets, something we could see, touch, and most of all, something which would eventually generate income for us.
I wrote this book so anyone with minimum experience—but with the discipline to live below their means and put their money to work for them—can have the same real estate success!
The fourth person who was key to our success was my husband, Steve Rex. He believed in my dreams and supported me every step along the way! Together, we created the future we knew was available to all who trusted and followed simple success principles.
