It was 5 am and my alarm went off. I wasn’t feeling well at all; coughed the entire night, had a high temperature, and definitely didn’t want to go to work that day.
So, I reached out for my phone to call in sick.
That was when I saw those pile of papers. Right at the top of my dresser, piled up like an ancient army of enemies.
Those were the bills from different companies. Gas, electricity, credit cards, car loan and a few others.
I couldn’t afford to have a sick day without a pay.
So instead of calling in sick, I got ready for my work. Sick and tired, and frustrated.
That was the day when I decided to pay more attention to my debts.
