Untethered Connection

What is an untethered connection? Well, from the looks of it, it doesn't exist, and even if it does, it sounds very oxymoronic. The untethered simply means to disconnect, and connection means joining or linking things together. So, the mother of my son and I, have a connection, which is my son. However, it is untethered because we don't share the connection of a relationship. My wife loves to dance, and I am not a dancer. My wife and I carry a connection, but it is not dancing. The Bible speaks of untethered connections; there was one particular scripture where the apostle Paul said we need to renew our minds daily. In retrospect, he was saying that we have a connection with God through Jesus Christ. However, with trials, tribulations, heartache, loss, and adversity, so many things are there to untether us. But thank God that his mercy and grace are sufficient.

If the power of connection is a deeper love and knowledge of a thing, the more you dig, the more your untethered turns into tethered ones.

It was 9:33 a.m. when Cynthia received a call on her house phone. One of the maids, named Mariah, picked it up, Hello, Robert's residents. How may I help you? she asked with her Spanish accent.

The voice said, Ummm hello, uhhh, yes may I speak to Cynthia? the man asked, with his sweaty palms and the nervousness in his voice.

The maid responded, Mrs. Roberts is busy right now. Do you want to leave a message?

Ummm no, ma'am, I was meaning to say yes. Could you let her know Chase called, uhhh, I'm sorry Chase Jenkins called, please, Chase
