In our fast-paced and often chaotic world, feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from our true selves is easy. We can find ourselves yearning for freedom and purpose, a longing for something wild and untamed. It is in these moments that we can turn to the timeless wisdom found in the Bible to guide us toward embracing our God-given wildness.

We often long for adventure and are usually raring to go and get our motors running to head out on the highway. This can remind us of the innate longing to embark on an adventure, explore the depths of our faith, and discover the vastness of God's love. As believers, we are called to step out of our comfort zones and be open to the wild possibilities God has in store for us.

God’s word tells us in Romans 12:2 not to be conformed to this world but to be transformed by renewing our minds so that we may prove God's good and acceptable perfect will. We are called to break free from conformity. Breaking free from conformity often provides adventure as we look for adventure in whatever comes our way.  This reflects our desire to break free from societal norms and expectations. Similarly, as Christians, we are encouraged to resist the world's conformity and instead embrace the uniqueness of our calling. God calls us to live authentically, guided by His Word and led by the Holy Spirit, rather than being confined by the expectations of others.

We must embrace any tests that come our way. In Psalms 66:10, the psalmist reminds us that God tests us, just as silver is tried. We may encounter challenges and trials in pursuing a wild and vibrant faith. These tests refine us into vessels fit for God's purposes. Instead of shying away from these difficulties, let us embrace them as opportunities for growth and transformation, knowing God is with us every step.

Freedom in Christ is beyond any other freedom we could ever find. While many of us celebrate the freedom of the open road, we can find even greater freedom in our relationship with Christ. Galatians 5:1 proclaims, It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. In Him, we are liberated from the chains of sin and given the ability to live a truly wild and free life. This freedom is not a license for recklessness, but a call to live according to God's will, guided by His love and grace.

As we reflect on our God-given wildness, let us channel our wildness and passion toward a life devoted to God. May we embrace the adventure, break free from conformity, endure testing with resilience, and revel in the freedom found in Christ. Remember, we are born to be wild for God's glory.

Let us be thankful to our Heavenly Father for creating us with a sense of wildness, adventure, and purpose. May we always embrace these qualities as we follow Him.  God grants us the courage to step out of our comfort zones, break free from conformity, and face the trials that refine us. Let our lives be a testimony to our God-given wildness and transforming love.

Riding the Road of Life with Faith

We are called to trust the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our understanding. In all our ways, we must acknowledge Him, and He shall direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). As motorcyclists, we embark on thrilling journeys, feeling the wind on our faces and experiencing the freedom of the open road. We can find solitude, reflection, and connection with God during these rides. Let's ride on the road again and explore Biblical principles that will guide us.
