It was blue and by the ocean
Sea salt and sand spilling between my fingers
Ran my hands through your hair
I whispered I love you
The ocean screamed it back
As it swallowed you into the blue
I’m not encouraging your self-isolation
But break your own heart for once
Just to know what it feels like to be in control

If pins and roses scattered the floor
And I stood barefoot across the room
