Others can stop you temporarily but you are the only one that can do it permanently. -Zig Ziglar
Always bear in mind that our own resolution to succeed is moreimportant than any other one thing.- Abraham Lincoln
Everyoneisafraidofsomething–failure, success, loneliness, crowds, death, life, the list is endless. No one is immune to fear. Fear haunts the weak and thepowerful, theyoung and theold, therichandthepoor.Itisagreatleveller.Howwehandleourfearsand move on is the difference between being successful and being afailure.
Fear is an emotion induced by a threatperceived by livingentities,an unpleasant emotion or thought. It is the feeling you get when youare afraid or worried that something bad will happen or is going tohappen. Fear is birthed in the mind, and it is one of the greatestimpedimentstohumanprogress.Ashumans, youwillalwaysexperience some level of fear. You must be careful not to empowerfear so that it does not influence your actions and decisions. It is theunfounded fear within that undermines your confidence and yourability to discover who you are. Fear jeopardizes the hope of success, it causes anxiety, and destroys positivity. Fear imposes limitationsupon potential and ability; it is an enemy of progress.
Don't permit your mind to dwell on negative thoughts like:
Idon'thaveenough money.
Iamnottalented.
Idonot haveenoughknowledge.
Idonot haveenoughexperience.
Ihavefailed manytimes inthepast.
Iamnotlucky.

Don’t predict failure before you even start. Never do it. It results infear. Think happy andbe positive, alwaysremainhopefulbecause the thing you fear need not happen, unless you permit it. You havethe power within you to get rid of it, and do so immediately, don’tromance it, don’t dwell on it and don't believe it. Rather than sayingNoIcan’t
say–YesIcan.
Itfeelsgreatandsetsyourthinking to an ‘I can’ attitude.
Your dreams exist to turn your life into a masterpiece. Doing whatyou love and living your life on your own terms is the best thing you can do for yourself. You can achieve your dreams because they’vebeen given to you and with each dream comes the power to achieveit. Butyou have to work!
Mike Tyson said I have to dream and reach for the stars and if Imiss a star then I grab a handful of clouds.
You can achieve yourdreams if you are hungry because nothing will feed your hungermore than pursuing and accomplishing your dreams.
When you cease to dream, you cease to live. - Malcolm Forbes.
Too many people are living, but only few are actually alive. Whenyou dream, you become alive. If you choose to ignore your dreamthen you kill the potential of living a fulfilling life and die again.
You can achieve your dreams because there is a problem that onlyyou can solve.
Yesterday’s dreams are today's answers to tomorrow’s problems.-Edgar Cayce.
You dream because you have a burning desire to solve a problem orfulfil a need that could make the world a better place. Everything weenjoy today was first somebody's dream. They simply pursued it and then itwas physically manifested.
Lastly, youcanachieveyourdreamsbecauseyouhavethecourage to do so and you will keep on encouraging yourself.
Note that amongst all the positivity - fears will show its ugly faces of disease, old age, insecurity, poverty, etc. Fears can be legitimate orotherwise, but if you summon your courage, determination, passionand confront them they simply wither away and eventually die.
Fill your mind with only courageous thoughts, leave no room forfear, and make courageous decisions and statements. Courage is notthe absence of fear but the overcoming of fear. The best way todefine boldness is by saying that in spite of the fear you went aheadanyway. Fear is all that lies between you and your dreams. Looktoward your dreams not towards your fears. Move forward despitefeeling the fear and the fear will fade away, fear more than any other emotion is what drives many people to do what they do. And most of the fear is irrational. Live your dreams not your fears.
Never retreat and go back to how it was because of fear. Don't goback to your comfort zone, always move forward. Ever forward, never backward. Fear often causes us to be or return to what isfamiliar rather than face our challenges, this is because the threat ofthe unknown appears to be larger than it really is. Fear enlargespotential threats beyond their true proportion. Once you realize thisyou can move forward with confidence that the future has muchbetter potentialand the past will fade into obscurity.
Always face the future, not the past. You should no longer fear theenemies you have already conquered.
It is your responsibility to act, others can give you guidance, butneither they nor God should act for you when you are capable ofdoing it yourself. No matter your belief in God or others, they won'thelp you if you are not trying to help yourself. Doing nothing isfoolishness – face the fear and act.
Rabbi Levi Brackman and Sam Jaffe, in their book Jewish wisdomforBusinessSuccess, statedthatthereisadifferencebetweendreaming andhaving avision.
Visionwithoutexecutionishallucination
Anyone who has left a mark in this world had a dream. Whether they created a business, governed a country, or created a movement, it allstarted in the mind and heart as a dream. At the beginning, thatdream might have been laced with fantasises of fame or riches. They may have pictured successes or accolades or respect. Therein lies the temptations and snares of big dreams.
Of course, it doesn’t stop there, dreaming is the place to start, butending there would be premature. Bringing a dream into the realworldinvolvesfacingchallengesandproblems, obstaclesandoutright resistance.Martin Luther King, Indira Gandhi etc. all haddreams of a better world and because of that dream they had enemies that wanted to stop them and they faced a lot of problems but in spite of the challenges they went ahead and pursued their dreams. Todaytheir names are part of history and the world has taken note of them.
So, what differentiates dreamers from the visionaries? How does adream move from fantasy to reality?
Whenwecallsomeoneavisionaryitisadifferentmattertoa dreamer. A visionary is someone who sees ahead of
