Summer vacation

Chapter One

Ah, vacations. Whether they took us to another state or, in our case, another country, they were always a source of joy. Our parents had saved up enough money to treat us to a splendid spring break in Huatulco, Mexico. The moment we stepped off the bus and set foot on Mexican soil, we gazed in awe at the grandeur of the resort that awaited us.

Oh, my goodness!

The resort had everything one could possibly imagine! From charming gift shops to complimentary room service and a vast, breathtaking beach, it was a paradise on Earth. After our parents completed the check-in process, the staff escorted us to our respective rooms. Justin and I had our own room, while Mom and Dad had theirs.

As we entered the room, a refreshing scent of freshly cleaned sheets greeted my senses. It was evident that the room had been meticulously prepared for our arrival, as if it were meant exclusively for our comfort.

This place is beyond fancy! I exclaimed, plopping my belongings onto one of the beds. The room was nothing short of amazing, with a mini fridge stocked with soda, a colossal flat-screen TV, and a bathroom that could probably accommodate an entire army.

Justin, too, casually dropped his things onto the other bed and unzipped his bag. He swiftly retrieved his phone and powered it on, engrossed in a conversation.

Really, Justin? You're going to be on your phone? We have a magnificent beach, a delightful hot tub, and countless other amenities to enjoy! I protested, slightly annoyed.

Chill out! I'm just talking to my girlfriend! he replied, nonchalantly returning his focus to the screen. She already misses me. Perhaps she's longing for my presence.

Ah, boys. Always thinking with their hormones...

Ignoring his distracted behavior, I unzipped my bag and retrieved my bathing
