Chapter One
When the morning light gently brushed against my eyelids, I knew it was time to face another day. I reluctantly left the warmth of my bed, feeling a mix of excitement and impatience. Paul, the producer working on my song, was supposed to get back to me soon, and the anticipation was driving me crazy.
I hopped into the shower, letting the water wash away the remnants of sleep. Thoughts of my song filled my mind, making my heart race with excitement. This was the moment I had been waiting for, the chance to make my musical dreams a reality.
After the shower, I dressed quickly, eager to tackle the day. The song, my passion project, had consumed my thoughts all week. I checked my phone, hoping to see an email from Paul, but there was nothing. Impatience gnawed at me, wondering when he'd finally respond.
Oh, come on, Paul. Please don't keep me waiting any longer,
I muttered to myself, pacing the room.
