Bibliography
Dear Readers,
Thank you for returning for part two of "The Perfect Situation: My Husband, My Hero, My Heart. As promised I will describe to you in this book how God cleansed me and released me from the hold
He" had on me.
Remember this as you read through what happened. When things happen to you as a young child, it takes God to bring you out of it and into who God created you to be. Only God can get into your mind’s mind and fix what has been broken.
Only God can make a way out of no way.
Only God can make the impossible possible.
Only God can make the dirty clean.
Only God can find the lost.
Only God can make the confused clear.
Only God can make your crooked path straight.
Only God can bring peace out of chaos.
I pray that the pages behind this one helps you to discover what it means to find yourself, love yourself, forgive yourself, and forgive others. I pray these pages lead you to or back to The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
Happy Reading,
Better Living,
Lisa Whiterose
NOTE
This book "The Perfect Situation: My Husband, My Hero, My Heart" is about how God saved me from all that had taken over my heart and mind as a child. It’s about how he gave me someone who allowed me to be exactly what I’d been trained to be; until God changed me. It’s about how God gave me time and space to learn how to love Him, my husband, and myself. This book is about how God allowed certain things to take place in my life so I could see myself and learn to see him. He allowed certain things in order to bring me back to him.
STATUTORY RAPE:
Statutory rape is non-forced sexual relations between an adult and an individual who legally is not old enough to consent to the behavior.
In many jurisdictions laws, though variable, define when an individual is capable of making sexual activity decisions.
The United States has defined a higher age of consent for a minor to have sex with an adult than in most other countries. In most states, a 16-year-old can legally give consent for sex with an adult. Some states also specify that to qualify as statutory rape, in addition to the victim being under the age of consent, there needs to be an age of difference of at least 2 to 5 years between the youth and adult. Generally when a youth is 12 years old and younger, the sexual activity is considered child abuse. In contrast, in half of the jurisdictions in Europe, a 14 year old can legally give consent for sex with adults.
Different cultural norms further complicate society’s perception of and response to statutory rape. In some cultures it is completely acceptable for young girls to have sexual relations with older adult men. When adults are interested in sexual relations with minors, they may give gifts and money to youth and their families, and this is perceived as acceptable and a sign of attention or love. In contrast, in other cultural circles, this same behavior is often described as grooming the victim,
or seducing a minor by forming a bond with her or him and then introducing a sexual component to the relationship. Furthermore, some minors may not view themselves as victims, often saying, that they are in love with the adult and therefore do not think a crime has been committed.
THE PERFECT SITUATION:
MY HUSBAND, MY HERO, MY HEART
MY HUSBAND
I Miss you so very much. When are you coming home?
I asked my soon to be husband, Jake Whiterose.
I miss you too, baby.
He responded. It won’t be long. I believe they’re going to tell me something by the end of the week.
I smiled my relief. Okay. ‘Cause I can’t wait to have you home.
This part of my story trips me out. Why? Because this man who I so desperately wanted to come home, I had also desperately divorced about seventeen years before.
Yeah, I know it seems crazy, but here’s the story behind that. We were married at ages 21 and 23. I was 21. He was 23. We were mostly happy until I wasn’t anymore. This marriage was between me and the good man I told you about in The Perfect Situation.
This marriage only lasted about fifteen months. I know. That was such a long time to be married; right? Anyway, the reason we weren’t together anymore is because I wanted out. So, we were divorced.
Being the selfish individual I was at the time, I had determined within myself and probably declared it to others that the good man and I would never get back together.
I was convinced in my heart that was the right decision. As time went on, I began to study God’s word more and more. Now, I desired the kind of marriage described in God’s word. In fact, I’d always wanted the kind of marriage in the word. Now, I knew the details of what I wanted.
Well, here’s how God answered that desire.
One morning I was in the bathroom, quiet and still. That’s the way I am first thing in the morning, quiet and still. I was sitting on the only throne I’ll ever own staring at the shower
