Pacific Crest Trail
THE TRAIL IS LONG AND I can’t stop turning my head expecting to see someone there. There are many trails in America, but the Pacific Crest trail has always had a history with my family. This trail located in California has affected my family life for years and now is my opportunity to see why. The trail is 2,650 miles long, it can take anywhere from four to six months of hiking to complete the trail. My father talked about this trial all the time, it consumed his very being. He warned me all my life that hiking this trail is forbidden, but standing here now the sense of fear has dissipated. Harold is a young adult in his twenties with orange hair and blue glasses. His skin is as white as paper and his voice is deep. Harold and I have been friends for the last couple of months and are both studying to become Park Rangers. Harold invited me to join him, his family is already ahead on the trail and he wants us to catch up to them.

David said to him as he stepped over a fallen tree.
"They got here a couple of days ahead of us and we have to hurry if we want to join them in time for the Moonlight Feast.
Remind me, what’s so important about this feast?
"Well, you see 40 years ago my father was in a group with
