12-year-old Usagi woke up out of bed in his room which was filled with action figures and comic books. Usagi at this time was a young preteen with short red dread hair. Usagi got out of bed as he smelled the scent of cooked breakfast in the morning as a soft voice called out to him. Usagi! Breakfast and hurry or you’ll be late for school,
a woman called out to him from downstairs. Usagi rushed to put on his clothes. He grabbed his hat that his favorite anime logo on from an anime named Black. He was dressed in black slim jeans and a red t-shirt with flames on it and a purple zip-up hoodie with black and white sneakers on as he ran downstairs. Usagi looked at his at the woman and smiled because it was his mother a woman named Kaguya Jones.
Kaguya is a lady who can be described as a goddess who can make even the most miserable people happy by using one kind word to them. She had red long curly hair and she was wearing a pink zip-up coat with a black t-shirt on underneath and black shorts and sneakers meaning she was heading to the gym after dropping him off at school. Kaguya was always trying to stay in shape because it made her look younger. Usagi always wondered how could his mother not age because when a person looked at her it was like looking at a girl in her late teens. To Usagi, she was the prettiest mom in Stone Genesis City which is the city Usagi lived in before he had to move to Zone City to be in the care of his sister Sabrina and her husband Micheal.
Usagi sat at the table and started eating +breakfast as Kaguya made herself a smoothie. So mom where’s dad?
he asked looking up from his plate as he took another bite of the breakfast. Kaguya poured the smoothie into her cup and took a sip before answering. He headed off to work this morning but he’s gonna be home early today because you know tomorrow is our big Summer Trip to the Mongo Islands,
she said with excitement as Usagi smiled because he’s been looking forward to the trip all year and now they were finally going. Kaguya smiled as she grabbed her gym bag and car keys. Let’s get going Bunny,
she said as Usagi blushed in embarrassment at that nickname.
Come on mom really?
Usagi asked with his face red. Aww come on it’s a cute nickname I’ve been calling you that since you were a baby,
Kaguya said giggling. Usagi couldn’t help but laugh because of nice his mother was as he grabbed his school bag and headed out the door. They both got into the jet-black jeep with white tires that Usagi’s father was able to get when he made a deal with a salesman after he tried to con him out of buying a beat-up jeep that he forced them to fix up which became the jeep Kaguya is taking Usagi to school in. During the ride, Usagi was looking out the window thinking about the big Summer Trip that he and his parents were getting ready to take.
Kaguya turned and smiled at her son seeing him happy because she knew he was working hard in school and she also felt that he deserved it because he was set to attend a private school next to give him a chance for better education that could at least give him a challenge because Kaguya and her husband always knew that he was intelligent to a point where he would be considered above other kids not that he was special or anything he just saw himself as a kid who works harder especially since his favorite comic book character is about a nerdy kid who is the top of his class who gains superpowers after a radioactive accident to turns him into a hero after losing someone close to him and learning a vital lesson.
Kaguya pulls up to the school as Usagi looked at the entrance taking a deep breath. Have a good day at school Bunny,
she said as Usagi’s face turned red again as he got out of the jeep. Okay jeez mom,
he said giving her a quick peck on the cheek before heading inside the school. Kaguya drove off the gym. Usagi enters the rowdy hallway with loud boys and girls from ages 12-14 some looking older than they should be. Usagi went over to his locker and grabbed his art supplies because he usually had art in the morning which was both great and sad because he wanted it to be his last class meaning to the end of the day on his last class but it didn’t go that way but on the other hand he was able to have that class.
The best thing about school was he got to see the girl of his dreams Anna. Usagi’s eyes lit up as she passed through in a royal blue skirt with her black socks up to her knees wearing white sneakers a gray long-sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up wearing her infectious smile with the mole on the right side of her upper lip. She is a very polite girl who could befriend anybody even the lower of the food-chain guys while staying at the top of the food chain which is very hard in junior high. It’s no secret that Usagi can never speak when Anna appears near him he just ends up embarrassing himself. Usagi knew it was the last day of the school year and he knew if he was going to make his move then he should. Usagi closed
