Life on the arid colony world of Agrarius is tough, but Beatriz Ruiz has a plan - buy a farm, marry the love of her life and start a family, not necessarily in that order. Plus there’s a strange crater newly-opened up in the next valley which needs looking into.
Meanwhile, back on the deep space Xenoplantation facility, Amber Codrington is feeling the effects of her first alien encounter, and in a familial frame of mind as well...
Twelve women. Sixty aliens. One purpose. Xenofestation 1-04 - The Maiden and the Pit is the fourth episode of a series of darkly erotic sci-fi adventures of oviposition and alien implantation.

Reader Advisory
This is a work of erotic science fiction, and a very rude one at that. Intended exclusively for an adult audience, it graphically depicts scenes of a highly sexual nature and situations of peril/horror.

Entry 1-04/A - The Maiden and the Pit
Agribond Complex, Northern Hemisphere, Agrarius, Scolius system
They started before first dawn, climbing determinedly into the dusty foothills north of the farmstead. When Scolius-A rose in the east, huge and red, they looked back and surveyed the farm buildings, the polycarb tubes of the growing complex, like clusters of huge white worms tinted pink in the glowering morning light, the crowded landing pad and the clutter of dwellings, storage barns and workshops, the vista of Beatriz Ruiz’s world.
As they climbed the ridge towards the peak, she made Samuel walk in front. She told him it was because he was the best at pathfinding, but really it was so she could admire the way his butt filled his shorts, his slender man’s hips, his powerful thighs, muscles flexing as he planted his feet and strove towards the summit. The fine downy hair on his legs… oh.
It was a risk leaving any skin exposed to sunlight, but the rewards were so worth it, in Beatriz’s opinion.
In any case, by the time Scolius-B finally rose in the south-east, blue and small and angry, they would be under cover, sheltered from the worst of its fierce ultraviolet glare.
Beatriz was used to planning around the safe times and the risky times.
For a moment as she climbed, she allowed herself to imagine Sam’s muscular thighs, pressing her own bare thighs apart, as he strove towards her summit.
She took a swig of water from her flask to cool herself.
The day was going to be hot.
All days on Agrarius were hot, of course, but this one was going to be hotter than usual, because today was the day she would take Samuel Bycroft’s virginity.
He didn’t know it yet, of course.
Soon, she told herself.
Soon.
Beatriz had arrived on Agrarius while still in her mother’s womb, her parents apparently considering a new life in the colonies a better alternative to the shame and criminal records resulting from a pregnancy they had… well, she hadn’t quite managed to get the whole story from them, but it sounded like her conception had come about more in deliberate defiance of the reproduction laws on old Terra than entirely by accident.
She’d been rather proud of her parents for that. The idea that they’d been so determined to have children, to have her, that they’d risk any sanction, would even leave their comfortable home in Santiago and move to this dust-bowl planet rather than miss out on the opportunity of having her.
And perhaps they’d adapted to their changed circumstances better than she had, even though she’d known no home other than this collection of prefab buildings, huddled together in the valley floor where the moisture collected. They’d certainly never grumbled about their
