About the Author

Introduction

A few years ago, I was in Verona, Italy, ministering at a conference on the Father’s Love.

Verona is known for the greatest love story of all time—Romeo and Juliet.

It’s a beautiful city, and after the service I went for a walk in the center of town, the Piazza, to be with the locals and to have a bite to eat at a local restaurant when a young waiter who was about 27 years old came over and we started talking.

He asked me if I was visiting on vacation. I told him I was ministering on the Father’s Love at a conference close by, and I asked if he was attending a church.

His response is something I will never forget, and to this day, the truth of what he said is written on my heart. He said, No, I don’t go to church. The churches here are like museums, and museums are for dead people. My heart broke.

I said, No, my God is alive—no matter what you might see in these local churches, my God is alive, and He wants to encounter you with His love!

Church without the presence of the Holy Spirit moving is just religion, and religion will eventually become a form of godliness without the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

But the only thing that will keep this from happening in our day is our ongoing passion and pursuit of His presence and our choice to daily remain in His presence and in His love.

With my heart crushed, I went back to my hotel and fell before the Lord, and I wept as I thought about this generation and how much our heavenly Father dearly loves them and desires for them to encounter His love.

The Lord has given me a passion to see His children experience an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit so they can abide in the Father’s love every moment of every day.

One afternoon as I was spending time with the Holy Spirit, He revealed to me He wanted me to write a book (something I never really wanted to do), and that He wanted to use it to impact this generation around the world with the unconditional love of the heavenly Father, and in that place of intimacy see themselves as God truly see them.

As I started praying about this idea of writing a book, I experienced the most brutal attack of the enemy against my health, and many times I didn’t think it was humanly possible for me to write. But the Holy Spirit gave me strength and a Bulldog spirit—I didn’t give up. I knew God was calling me to write this book.

For over a year, as I was writing, the Lord would awaken me through the night with visions, dreams, and pages and pages of notes and Scriptures.

One afternoon while in prayer, the Holy Spirit showed me in a vision a beautiful sword. As I looked closer at the sword, I saw the word Intimacy written on one side, as the sword turned I could see Authority written on the other side.

Then He said to me, Authority is rooted in Intimacy - Your identity & purpose is revealed within the Vision of the Sword.

He showed me that kingdom authority and worldly authority are not the same. Worldly authority is rooted in the position you hold; kingdom authority is rooted in your intimacy with the King.

Our true identity in Him can only be discovered when we are rooted and grounded in the foundation of the Father’s love. It’s only as we abide in this secure place as His dearly loved children that we can truly fulfill our destinies and step into the authority He has called us to as His Kings and Queens.

In 1 John 3:1 we are called His dearly loved children, and in Rev 1:6 and 1st Peter 2:9 we are called Royalty, His Kings & Queens.

He calls us His Kings and Queens, not so we can feel special, we are special because we are His dearly loved children, he calls us His Kings and Queens so we can understand the level of authority he has given us in this life.

As you journey through this book, I believe God will introduce you to…You!

In Judges 6:12, God called Gideon a mighty man of valor, but Gideon responded the way he saw himself and not as his loving Heavenly Father saw him.

God called him a mighty man of valor, which is defined as a man of strength, power, a hero, and a warrior!

Gideon on the other hand replied, I’m the least in my clan, and my clan is the least of all the clans. He saw himself at the bottom, instead of who God created him to be in Him.

In the same way, your true identity is not who you may think you are, or who your family and friends think you are. Your only true identity is who God says you are in Him.

Just as God introduced Gideon to his true identity in Him, allow God to do the same for you!

You are His Kings and Queens!

This book will equip you to operate as His Kings and Queens with the keys of the kingdom, His authority, and the power of the kingship rule of heaven.

It’s only in this authority that you can fulfill the commission you have been given to decree the fullness of Heaven on Earth so the world can experience the glory of God, and to release all the resources you need to fulfill the dreams and visions God has given you!

It’s your Heavenly Fathers desire for you to encounter His unconditional love and in that warm embrace of His love for you to see yourself through His eyes!

You are Royalty—His Kings and Queens. There is nothing common about you!

A Letter to His Queens

My prayer in writing this letter to His Queens is to encourage them to become all that God has called them to be in Him.

I have been so blessed to attend two of the most amazing churches, both of which are led by powerful, passionate, and anointed women of God. In Nashville, I attended The Belonging Co with Pastors Alex and Henry Seeley, and currently (where I live in Naples, Florida), I attend Grow Church with Pastors Tracy and James Boyd.

In both churches, you will find two of the most incredibly anointed women of God who have a passion for His presence and who are shaking the heavens for God’s kingdom! While writing this book, I felt the Holy Spirit clearly say, I will remove the restrictions leaders (not God) have put on my daughter’s for centuries in the Church.

When you look at most platforms in churches around the world, you will see male dominated platforms. Less than 10% of women hold leadership positions in churches as Apostles, Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists, and Prophets.

Why is this? Because for centuries the Church and its leaders have indirectly and di¬rectly made statements that women are second-class citizens in the Church, and that the lives of men are more important than the lives of women as it pertains to hearing from God.

Women have basically been told that God only calls men as leaders to be His voice to this world, unless of course it’s teaching a Sun¬day School class or as a worship leader because those roles for some reason seem to be acceptable. Repeatedly, the message is that women can’t lead a church, but this is not the heart of our heavenly Father!

God is going to raise up His Queens in this generation and in generations to come who are called and anointed to be His voice to this nation and nations
