Lena's family relocated to Dallas a few months after her father lost his job. Fortunately, her father was able to secure a new job in Dallas, which necessitated their move.
During her upbringing, Lena struggled with self-doubt and a lack of confidence. She lived with her parents and her younger sister, Edna, and the two sisters were very close, often referred to as best friends.
Lena's mother worked as a cashier at a nearby grocery store, while her father held a managerial position at a prominent pharmaceutical company. The family led a typical, middle-class lifestyle. Lena's parents took excellent care of their daughters, ensuring their needs were met.
During her childhood, Lena's parents noticed that she was an introverted child, in contrast to her sister, Edna, who was outgoing and confident.
Lena was a high-achieving student who consistently performed well in her class despite her shy demeanor. Her hard work and dedication to her studies resulted in her receiving the best grades in her class, which made her the subject of envy among her peers. From a young age, Lena placed immense pressure on herself during exam periods, which her mother attributed to normal stress related to school exams, despite her belief that Lena may have been too young to experience such pressure.
Prior to turning nine years old, Lena was a joyful child who enjoyed reading and discovering new things, as well as spending quality time with her loved ones. However, there was a significant shift in her personality around this time, which did not go unnoticed by those around her. Lena's grades began to decline, her behavior at home became different, and her family became concerned about her well-being. Despite these changes, Lena's mother reminded herself that her daughter was still just a child.
Lena's parents were concerned about her sudden change in behavior and decided to confront her about it. When they asked Lena what was wrong, she simply replied that everything was okay and there was nothing to worry about.
Despite her reassurances, Lena's mother expressed her concern for her daughter's well-being. Lena maintained that she had not noticed any change in herself, even though her parents had observed a significant shift in her character.
Lena and her sister used to spend a lot of time playing with other children, often at the park, where Lena would happily play for hours. However, Lena's behavior changed, and she started to distance herself from the other children, preferring to sit alone instead of socializing with her peers.
Lena's younger sister, Edna, was confused by this change in behavior and repeatedly asked Lena why she wouldn't join in the group activities. Lena would always reply that she simply didn't feel like participating. Edna eventually became frustrated with her sister's behavior and expressed her concerns to their mother. Despite Edna's complaints, their mother tried to reassure her that Lena was okay.
As Lena and Edna aged, with Lena being 10 years old and Edna being 9 years old, Lena's behavior started to change. She became more
