Having said that, it's essential to familiarize yourself with foraging safety before you begin. After learning more about eatable wild mushrooms, I initially developed an interest in foraging. Food was once only available by hunting and fishing, or by harvesting natural foods like plants, berries, and seeds.
Today, we receive food in a totally different way. The majority of individuals in developed nations like the United States get their meals from supermarkets or food delivery services. You may have little interaction or personal connection with the food you consume beyond adding it to your supermarket basket, cooking it, and eating it.

The practice of foraging, or looking for food in the outdoors, has grown in popularity as well, particularly among people who want to live more sustainably. Although you would believe that foraging can only occur in natural settings like forests, it is also feasible in populated regions like cities.
This is due to the fact that even the most metropolitan areas include green places, such as yards and parks, where wild food plants may flourish. Edible plants including mushrooms, berries, and greens are abundant in rural locations and untamed environments.
