Adventures Of The Red Ranger - RB Parkline
The Phantom Menace
Chapter I
It was a dark gloomy night as rain fell hard, wind blew without mercy on a solitary rider. She rode from the north through the perilous night. The lightning cracked and the thunder boomed as the rider made her way through the stormy dangerous night.
The Red Ranger leaned forward in her saddle urging her trusty steed forward. The horse responded by laying his ears back, head forward racing onward at a faster pace. The Ranger was dressed in a red mask, red boots, red leather pants, red chaps, red shirt with a red vest, a red flat brimmed hat, and a red cape with a bright black R on the back of her cape.
The Red Ranger knew it was dangerous to ride into the storm at night, but she understood that her mission was too important not to try and stop her arch enemy, The Phantom Menace whose mission was to keep children ignorant.
The Ranger rode towards the unknown dangers ahead. She worked alone and would meet and defeat the Ignorant spreading Phantom Menace and his mean sidekick Iggy the intolerant.
The Red Ranger arrived at a house in the country. She quickly jumped from her black stallion and went to the door. Without hesitating opened the door and stepped inside to see her arch enemy the Phantom Menace and his mean sidekick Iggy the Intolerant. Both evil doers were dressed in their yellow and white one piece suits with a flowing long caped hanging from their shoulders.
You must leave this place at once!
The Red Ranger said firmly. The Phantom Menace and Iggy turned, being surprised to see the Red Ranger. The Phantom gave a menacing sneer of contempt.
No, we will not leave this place.
The Phantom said in a mean voice. It is you Red Ranger who will leave. You see, my unwelcome friend, we were invited. You on the other hand are not invited, so if you would be so kind as to leave Red Ranger my friend Iggy and I will stay and play with the children.
HIs menacing voice was low as he growled.
No sir!
The Red Ranger said firmly, raising her voice I will not leave, it is you and your mean sidekick that will leave this house!
The Red Ranger taking her long whip from her belt quickly twirled it and snapped it sharply on the backside of the smaller sidekick Iggy. He howled in pain as he jumped up and down grabbing his bottom rubbing it. The Phantom ran as the Red Ranger twirling her whip snapped it at the Phantom who protested by yelling at the Red Ranger.
The Red Ranger grabbed the smaller sidekick dragging him by the arm across the room. She opened the door, tossing him out of the house. He landed in a mud puddle. She quickly turned running for the Phantom grabbing his arm and dragging him across the floor as he protested loudly. She pushed him outside, shutting the door.
The three children sat stunned watching as the fight happened. The Red Ranger walked to them sitting down. I know you wanted to have fun and play, but have you not finished your homework?
The children looked down. It is important you finish your homework before you play games.
The children nodded their heads. You should not allow anyone in the house when your parents are not home.
The Red Ranger said firmly as she looked at the children.
"We were having fun playing games,'' a young boy said, smiling.
Yes but games are for when your homework is finished.
The Red Ranger said in a soft voice.
I don’t know how to do it,'' the young girl said quietly.
The Red Ranger nodded her head understandingly at the young girl as she opened the math book. She showed the girl how the problems were to be worked. The young girl smiled as she suddenly understood the assignment and began to work on the problems in her book. She was patient as she showed the boys how to use the encyclopedia and dictionary to look up information for their homework. Soon the children were busy working on their homework. The Red Ranger stepped back watching the children working knowing her mission was completed. She walked out of the room leaving the children alone. The Ranger stepped into the stirrups and swung into the saddle. She was soon racing through the night.
Later that night the parents arrived at their house. When they walked in they saw their children working on homework. Now that is a good thing to see,
Mother said smiling. All of you doing your homework."
The children looked up smiling then began to tell how the Phantom Menace and his smaller sidekick Iggy the Intolerant came in distracting them. How the Red Ranger chased them off.
Father and Mother both smiled at the story. Well you have had quite the night. All we did was see Grandmother and go shopping.
Father said laughing. Since you have finished your homework you should have a treat. How about some oatmeal cookies with milk?
The Children grinned and agreed it would be great! Mother frowned but then smiled saying she thought that it would be okay. The children finished their homework and enjoyed their cookies and milk as they told of their adventure.
Chapter II
The children arrived at the one room schoolhouse which was located in the small town of Prigmore Texas. It was mostly a farming community with a few small businesses. The children loved their new school teacher Miss Hallie Rae Esquada. She of course was the Red Ranger. No one knew who she was. She preferred to keep her Identity secret.
The children were excited as they told the adventures of the Red Ranger arriving at their house and
