The Girl With The Broken Wings - Lawrence Arnold

    Prologue: Accident

It was a typical summer day, the sun shining brightly and the birds chirping in the trees. Priscilla and her friends had planned to spend the afternoon at the local park, playing games and soaking up the sunshine. They had no idea that their lives were about to change forever.

As they walked along the path, Priscilla noticed a group of boys playing a game of frisbee nearby. She had always loved frisbee and decided to join in. Excited by the prospect of making new friends, she ran towards the group, her arms outstretched to catch the frisbee.

As her friends rushed to her side, Priscilla tried to get up, but couldn't. The pain was too intense. She looked down and saw that her legs were motionless as if they had turned to stone.

It was only then that Priscilla realized the full extent of her injuries. She had broken her back and would never walk again.

Tears streamed down her face as the paramedics arrived and lifted her onto a stretcher. As they carried her away, Priscilla couldn't help but feel that her life as she knew it was over.

Little did she know that this was only the beginning of a journey that would take her to the heights of joy and the depths of despair, and ultimately reveal the true strength and beauty of her spirit.
