INTRODUCTION

There is nothing more important in a Christian's life than knowing who they are in Christ. Being armed, or the lack of arming will make a difference in a person walking in victory or defeat. While we are finding out who we are in Christ, we also need to understand what we have in Christ.

I was never taught this in church since it was never preached in the church I grew up in. This lack of knowledge caused me to be in and out of the church. Hosea 4:6  tells us "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." Lack of knowledge is a tool Satan uses to cause a person to walk around defeated all of the time. While that person may be born again and on their way to Heaven, they are walking around in defeat because they are not walking in line toward their destiny.

In this book, I am going to take you on a journey. It is not a journey that will cost you any amount of money. I am not going to charge you for reading this book. The journey we are going to take is to find out who we are in Christ, and what those that have gone on before us has left in the spirit realm. It is my prayer that this journey of a bible college student on a quest to find out who he is in Christ will not only challenge you but put you on the same quest to find out what spiritual inheritance you were left. It is time, as the title so aptly states that we as believers in Christ finish strong as we embark on a journey to find out our true inheritance.

CHAPTER 1

It was a beautiful early morning in 2014. The leaves were starting to turn from green into a beautiful orange color. The weather had begun to cool off turning those hot scorching days in Pine-ridge Connecticut into nice cool manageable days. As was his custom, Rick got up every morning between the hours of three A.M to six  A.M. to spend time alone with God in prayer. He loved the quiet time he had alone with God. No one was up making noise, as he had three sisters living with him in his five-bedroom condo. It was just him and the Lord spending beautiful moments of prayer and supplication together. On this particular morning, everything seemed to gel perfectly. The moment he put his feet on the floor, something was very different.

He normally has a hard time getting out of bed at three, but this morning, he heard in his ears the most beautiful mixture of voices ever assembled. He knows what choir music is, as his sisters sing in the church choir. This choir sounded like a heavenly host singing. All in unison they sang the chorus Hallelujah. As they sang, he felt electricity go all through him. What was happening? Amid the singing, he heard birds chirping along with this heavenly choir. Had he died in the middle of the night and gone to Heaven? The choir changed the words from Hallelujah to a resounding Thou are worthy. Thou art worthy. Suddenly, he felt a rushing mighty wind blow over him, and he began to speak in his heavenly language. This went on for hours and hours.

Suddenly Jesus appeared in his room with him. He had on the most gorgeous white robe with a royal blue sash. His hair was the most beautiful brown he had ever seen. His hair flowed naturally and beautifully down his shoulders as he stood there with his arms open wide saying Come unto me. Instantly Rick was positioned kneeling at Jesus' feet. You have been seeking me Rick, and now you have found me Jesus tenderly replied. At those words Rick wept like a baby. you are so humble Rick. Humility caused you to have favor with the father, and he sent me to visit you and show you great and mighty thingsJesus told him.

Rick had just enrolled in bible college. He was majoring in Christian Education with a minor in Theological Studies. He was raised in a good Christian home. His parents were dedicated to the things of God and so was he. Rick knew within his heart something was lacking in his life. He was praying one morning a year ago and told God he wanted to go on a quest to find out who he was in Christ. He loved the Lord, and was a youth evangelist, yet knew within himself there was more than what he had. He hoped going to bible college would open up new dimensions in his life that would fester this quest of his and cause him to find answers to questions he had. On this day, Jesus came
