The Odd Case at Central Park
Jamal had grown up around Central Park. Now that he was a man of thirty years of age and with his own son in tow, he visited the park again frequently. His son Hamza loved the swings in the corner best of all. They were many in number, rows of them lined one next to each other as if each child was meant to challenge the one next to them to see how close to death they could get.
Jamal didn't like his son going on the swings. It placed fear in his heart at the worst case scenario coming to life —as it had done so many times in Jamal’s life. But to make his son happy, to put that smile on Hamza's face that made everything in Jamal’s life worth it,
