My First Loves - Rashad Parker

    Chapter 1

Bianca was spoiled little girl who came from two parents who totally adored her. Her life as an only child was that of a princess until her father vanished one day without a trace. Her father Jason was a man that she adored tremendously. Being his only daughter brought so much joy and laughter. She had any and everything that her heart desired. He was a fair and just man, who people loved genuinely. Jason treated everybody with love and respect. Rumor had it; his childhood friend had him killed over a debt he refused to pay. Sadly enough, Jason’s body would not be found for four years.

The bond between father and daughter was unbreakable. Bianca was eight years old when the incident occurred. At the age of five she was riding on the back of her father’s Harley Davidson, she was fearless. At Christmas time Bianca got any and everything that her heart desired. Her father gave her the world. Jason taught her many life lessons in the few short years of her life, but the one lesson that stayed in her mind was how to make a dollar. Jason taught her the ins and outs of making money. Bianca would sell candy to the kids in the neighborhood; she would sell water ices, whatever it took to make money. That one lesson would change the course of her life forever. Money would forever be her mission.

    Chapter 2

The disappearance of her father changed her entire lifestyle. The luxury of just being a kid became non- existent. She saw the hurt and pain in her mother’s eyes, and it did something internally to her young soul. She began to think like that of an adult, and put away her childish ways. Her mother needed her more now than ever. Before this tragedy occurred they were a happy family and those precious moments were very short lived. During Jason’s four year absence Bianca had to spend most of her time at her nana’s house because her mother had to work double shifts to make up for the loss of Jason. Bianca hated living there and only seeing her mother one week out of a month. She had many cousins to talk to because nana’s house was extremely crowded. Everybody lived there from her many aunts to plenty of cousins. Bianca found comfort in playing basketball and showing some of her older cousins how good she was. Not having her father around gave her a sense of despair. Even though she was only eight years old, she soon developed a very rebellious attitude towards any and everyone. A once disciplined little girl soon turned into a monster. She respected nothing and walked to her own beat.

Living with her grandmother was not an easy transition for Bianca. In Diana’s absence her grandmother took very good care of Bianca. Diana worked strenuous hours to keep the money flowing for her and Bianca. Overtime was a must. The pain she felt losing her husband and the gruesome stress of only seeing her child one week out of the month was overwhelming. Through it all, Bianca was her mother’s rock. She remained strong and courageous through that terrible ordeal.

At the age of twelve Jason’s body had just been found which stirred up a lot of emotions within the family. His body was found by two hunters that ran across his remains and alerted the authorities. Since it had been so long, there were only skeletal remains which had to be ran through a series of test and autopsies and dental record verification to ensure that the body was indeed Jason’s. By this time Bianca had begun living the fast life. She acted as though she was 18, and carried herself in that manner. Being stripped of her childhood and thrown into a homicide would force any child to grow up fast. Bianca had three males that took great care of her. They looked out for her the way a brother should look out for a sister. Mayhem and Yohon were three years older than her, while her cousin Diddy was older than all of them. He was 20 years old and acted like a father to all of them. It was no secret that the young men were up and coming hustlers, the entire family knew that. They all lived together in their grandmother’s house, so Bianca saw lots of activity taking place there. The fellas did lots of dirt in the house when their grandmother was at church or out of the house. They would bag and weigh their work all before she got back in from her outings. Bianca watched them on many occasions and knew that she could show them how to make more money than what they were making at the moment. Her father had taught her that making money was an art. She knew many dope fiends from her and her mother’s block so she could easily turn them on to new people.

Basketball was a huge part of her life. She loved to play the sport. She was a natural. Athleticism ran in her blood. Her mother and father played sports, and basketball came real easy for her. At 12 years old she already had the hood looking at her skill level, she played at the same court everyday at the same time. That was her way of communicating with her father. She worked hard on her game, in her gym class she was the best out of all the girls and boys. She had game. She played after school and then went to her grandmothers to eat and then back to her favorite court to work on her game. She took basketball very serious. Her cousin Mayhem would brag to all of his homies about how advanced her game was. The hood rallied around her because everyone knew about the incident with her father. It was national news.

    Chapter 3

Bianca’s junior high school years were tough. She had so much going on in her home life with her father’s trial on top of living away from her mother; she began to fight a lot, and suspended all the time. Diana would receive so many phone calls at work alerting her about her child’s behavior. Her attitude was terrible. The only time she acted accordingly was when it had something to do with basketball. Her cousins tried to talk to her one day while she was in the basement with them while they were handling their business. Baby girl, you got slow down with your temper, you gonna mess around and blow your future, Diddy said. Bianca rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth. Nigga, I’m good, she said while giving him much attitude. She fought on a regular and was suspended all the time. B, you have the chance to be the best female basketball player to come from this hood, and you’re fuckin that up with your attitude. You need to dead that shit and respect your craft, because that’s your ticket out of this hood, Diddy stated with all seriousness in his tone. Mayhem and Yohon both nodded in agreement. Bianca knew that they only wanted the best for her, however on numerous occasions she studied them and what they were doing and she wanted in. Yo, I know mad people that get high yo, and I want in, she told Diddy as he was weighing his last few grams. He laughed in her face and told her this game is not for girls, this is a man thing. Yo little ass need to keep balling and focus on getting the fuck up outta here. You’ve been through more shit in your young life than most adults will ever go through. Stay focused little girl, he said. Bianca was pissed at what her older cousin said, and yelled at him nigga fuck all that, I can make paper in my sleep. My dad schooled me on the ins and outs of making paper, plus I can help expand this business. Mayhem and Yohon looked up at her in amazement. Growing up in the neighborhood, she knew a lot of people that got high. They were all around her, and she knew most of them personally. As soon as she stepped foot off of her porch she knew she could crush em. She would be spending that week with her mom, so she had shit mapped out.

Okay, young one, I’m gonna give you a little something and if you can make it pop, you’re officially in, but if you fuck up, you get nothing else, ya heard? Diddy said with mad authority. Also your little ass gotta go to school and keep playing ball because that’s what’s gonna get you outta the hood for real. So do we have a deal? Yeah we gotta deal, she stated smiling knowing it was her time. I’ll show them she thought. That moment would totally change the course of Bianca’s life for years to come.

    Chapter 4

Bianca was a natural born hustler. Diddy gave her a quarter ounce and in one day she brought back his money and then some. Mayhem and Yohon sat in amazement wondering how she was able to pull that off. Diddy smiled on the inside, like a proud father, but on the outside he kept his usual poker face. Bianca wasn’t quite sure of what he was thinking, but it didn’t matter to her because she knew she did the damn thing. She was extremely cocky, shit her father was the illest at flipping dollars and she was a product of him.

As time passed, Bianca and her cousins were making some serious money and it felt good knowing she could help her Mom out now. If her mother ever inquired about where she was getting her money she would just say that she got it from her cousins. The whole family knew what they were into so it would be a lie that was convenient. She settled into her life of crime, but she kept her word and still went to school and played basketball. Bianca had crazy clientele. She knew a lot of people who got down with getting high, shit even some of her teachers copped from her. She was a money machine. She applied everything that her father taught her, and saw that everything he said was true in regards to making that paper. She knew her shit was on point. Her and her crew had upgraded to a real nigga who was holding crazy work, and had the best shit out there. She never had to promote the product, good shit sold itself.

Base heads; stick up kids and even some hustlers plotted on trying to rob the young girl. She was very thorough when it came to the streets. She watched everything moving plus she knew that her cousins had her back. They would let nothing happen to her. She never left school to make money; she caught all the hood bread after school was over. She had too many faculty members on deck, so she was good. By the end of her junior high years, she was pushing major weight. After a while she became one of the largest females in the state. Ironically she wasn’t even old enough to drive. Even though Bianca had it going on financially she still attended school. When her pager went off in class, she was quick to dash to the pay phone. She told all her clientele that if they page her during school hours they better have a minimum of 500 dollars or better. Bianca had so much respect in the streets that her clientele would wait until after school hours to cop from her. She would sit in class and write down all the people she had to square away before she made it home for the day. She still hid her hustling ways from her mom and grandmother. At 2:30 when the bell would ring, Bianca would race to her locker then get a ride to her stash spot which was one of her cool ass aunt’s house, and get everything that she needed to take care of her people. When school was out she would call either Diddy or Mayhem and tell them what she put up for the day. The fellas slaughtered the block daily, while Bianca was in school. The local hood rat bitches loved them, and they also had the utmost respect for the young Bianca. No doubt she was as real as they came, and she shitted on them older hoes on a regular.

At the age of fourteen Bianca was a force to be reckoned with. She had the blocks on lock, and a crew to protect her. She felt invincible. She had been through so much so young that nothing scared her. She had more clothes and jewelry than grown ass women. She was always on her shit. She still practiced basketball and went to school. Summer would be coming soon, and she knew high school was up next. Shit, she had all summer to get that money and work on her game. She had plans to start varsity as a freshman, and nothing would stop her. She was driven. She would never be denied. When she focused on something she made sure she accomplished what she set out to do. After all she was Jason’s daughter. The summer would be coming to an end, and it was time for her to focus on her next mission. High School.

    Chapter 5

Bianca walked into high school with a fierce reputation. Everybody from students to faculty knew who she was. The upper-class young men tried to holla at her, while the hating ass girlfriends silently despised her. Though she was petite, she was far from weak. Her life was real, she planned to go to school and excel while making money and starting varsity as a freshman. Those were her only goals. As soon as she began strolling through the hallway headed towards her locker she heard somebody calling her name. She turned around and saw her best friend Bougie. The two had been thick since the days of playing in the sandbox. The two young ins were the most spoiled kids in the hood growing up. Some even thought they were destined for marriage. Bougie came from a family full of hustlers, even his father was a key player in the game. Even in elementary school, Bougie had his little crew of followers. He kept fresh gear, and just like Bianca he had a mother and father who adored him. Throughout the years the two remained close. They were closer than most, but they were just cool like that. Bianca, you looking fly as shit. I see you hittin’ on these bitches already and it’s only the first day. He laughs You know how I do nigga. I ain’t here for shit but this education and that starting spot on Varsity. Oh yeah, plus I wanna see how these high school teachers spend. She laughs at her own joke., she said laughing at her joke. Bougie gave her dap and promised to get up with her after he learned his schedule. Bianca headed to the guidance counselors to pick up her schedule. She had lost it before the first day of school even started. She knew she had to stop smoking weed she was losing too much shit. As she proceeded to the guidance office, she noticed some broads hating quietly. They eyeballed her attire, and secretly admired her swag. Bianca had style out the ass. She gave the bitches a smirk and kept it moving. Although she was petite, she had a fierce reputation that followed her wherever she went. She had three niggaz that taught her the art of protecting her neck, her knuckle game was nice. It was a known fact that she had a short fuse, she had dealt with so much in her young life, and it never took much to piss her off. Her family and peers knew that about her. Everyone knew her life had been rough, it had been on the news, and in the papers for years.

As a freshman she made the varsity squad with ease. All the practice and hard work paid off. Her ball handling was incredible. She was one with the rock. Her handle was airtight. You could not steal the ball from her and she was equally skilled in both hands. She was a true point guard. Her jump shot was as pure as they came. She was destined for greatness. As a freshman she averaged 22.9 points per game along with 6.1 assists and 3.5 rebounds. She had several colleges checking for her already. All the locals came to check her out. Her buzz was crazy throughout the state. Those in the underworld were already familiar with Lady B Everybody that knew her and knew of her knew that she was the truth. She played the game of basketball as if her life depended on it. Her mother and her cousins were especially proud of her never missing a game home or away. She played so free on the court giving each game her all. She left nothing out there on the court. Her competitiveness came from both her parents who excelled in sports as well. Bianca hated to lose that’s why she worked so hard on her game. She hated the taste of defeat. She knew that her father would be so proud of her for making the varsity squad and being the only freshman to do so. Because of her popularity and her achievements on the court, the girl’s basketball team got more recognition then the boy’s squad.

    Chapter 6

Off the court Bianca was seeing more money than most adults would see their entire life. The Crew, which consisted of her three cousins and Bougie, were really getting money. They had upgraded from ounces to kilos and money was pouring in hand over fist. Money never made them big headed, hustling was a natural thing. Bianca knew that after the school year was over her summer would consists of playing ball with her summer league group and of course making that bread. By her playing in the summer league it would give her a chance to showcase her talents all over the United States. She would be playing against the best high school ballers in the nation, so that was definitely something for her to look forward to.

The summer following her freshman year would be a summer that she would never forget. One beautiful summer evening Bianca was at the basketball court and there was some new dudes out there playing a nice five on five. Bianca wasn’t practicing that day, she was in hustle mode. She donned a pair of Roc and Republic jeans and a sexy halter top. She was in grind mode, and that’s how she stepped out when she wasn’t playing ball. Needless to say, she was fly. None of the guys caught her eye right away until she spotted this one who had game out the ass. The more she watched him, the more intrigued she became. He had major sex-appeal. He was brown skin with nice wavy hair and a set of dimples to die for. What attracted her to him the most was the fact that he could play the hell outta some basketball. His game was smooth, no effort. He played like he was born to ball. The two locked eyes and instantly she felt a connection to him. Soon he took notice that she was eyeing him and he began to really show off his skills. As he played he really could not stop watching the sexy brown petite girl that was staring at him so hard. She had a mystique about her. Something about her screamed boss. All the guys were checking her out, some knew her from around the way, but no one dared to talk to her in fear of her crew, especially Diddy and Mayhem. Bianca knew a lot of sharp ass niggaz, but none of them held her attention like the young man playing ball in her hood. As the game began to wind down, the score was tied 15all, when finally the cutie crossed on a joker, pulled up and nailed an 18ft jump shot…all net. Game over! Bianca noticed that the entire game he played so she smooth. He let the game come to him. He played excellent on ball defense, which wins games. He created turnovers that led to easy fast break points. The way he played the game and the knowledge that he displayed had Bianca totally intrigued.

After the game was over, usually there was about a two minute rest before the next team took the court to play the winners of the previous game. Bianca had walked over to one of the water fountains to meet a customer of hers. After she finished serving her people she turned to walk back to the court when she noticed the cutey looking in her direction. He was getting a drink of water before he played his next game. As she proceeded to walk back towards the court, she heard a deep voice asking if he could speak with her for a moment. As Bianca was about to walk over to him, one of the guys yelled, holla at the cutey after the game, let’s roll baby! He assured Bianca he’d definitely scream at her later. After he was finished playing. Bianca could see that he wanted to stay, but hey that’s the life of a ball playa, she thought.

The second game he lost, and afterward he headed back to the designated area where his gear was. Bianca headed to the parking lot, where the action started taking place. Niggaz was knockin there systems while the hood rats where trying to find a come up by any means. Even though Bianca had her eye on ‘ol boy, she had to be in control. She didn’t need him knowing she was on it like that, even though she was. As he raced to catch up with Bianca a fiend stopped and asked her did she have any work, and of course she did. She quickly served the fiend and rushed him along as the cutey started to come closer. As the introductions began, there was another fiend needing his fix, so Bianca motioned for the cutey to hold on for a quick second while she handled some minor business. The transaction took about 30 seconds then she finally gave the cutey her undivided attention. Finally she said. My name is Bianca, as you can see. Since these mafuckas keep screaming my name and shit. And yours? She asked seductively. Shine, he said in a sexy deep baritone voice. Shine, huh? Different, kinda odd, but damn since you all sweaty your body is shining. They both shared a laugh. Shine began complimenting her on her sexiness and how he thought she was fly. He wanted to get to know her better, so he asked for her number and promised to call her sometime that evening. She pulled him close disregarding his sweat and whispered in his ear you better, and walked away. Shine stood there in amazement at how she totally dominated their conversation. As he strolled to his peoples whip, all he could do was smile. Advantage Bianca! After she left the basketball court she headed toward the block where she knew her crew would be. They had the block wide open, money was out there and Bianca realized she had been missing out on some major paper while she was at the courts looking at those pickup games. As she strolled through the block, she heard Mayhem yelling her name loudly. Yo, where the fuck you been? Mayhem asked. At the fuckin courts. Why? Damn! Bianca replied with annoyance in her voice. Dressed like that Sis? Because that damn sure ain’t your balling gear. He joked. Nah, brother. I just had a lot on my mind, so I decided to walk to the courts to clear it. She stated. Those that were ear hustling on the block knew not to interfere in family business. It wasn’t unusual for Mayhem and Bianca to argue. He was as close to a brother that she would ever get. Bianca chilled on the block for about three more hours. She made a few stacks, and then proceeded to have one of her faithful flunkies drive her to her apartment. She was eager to get home for two reasons. The first one being the dick head officer that everyone hated was working the night shift, and the second reason was she wanted to holla at the kid Shine.

Bianca strolled into her apartment by 10:45, hoping that Shine would have called. She gave him her direct number, not the cell. She checked the caller id and noticed that he hadn’t called; she had messages from other niggas that she instantly deleted. Since he didn’t call, she took a shower, made a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and counted her earnings for the day. She made a few grand, put that in her stash spot, rolled a spliff and called it a night. She sat on her step and smoked her herb and thanked God for another day. Her mom was working so she had the crib all to herself. As the weed took effect, she began to think of all sorts of things. Her mom, crew, hustling, and her future. Bianca laughed to herself noticing that it was a full moon that night. She could imagine all sorts of funny things going on in the hood. She laughed thinking how the fiends were scrambling to find a hit, all the real money makers had retired for the night. The only ones left were play hustlers arguing over petty money trying to get rich quick. Yohon always tried to school the young ones, letting them know all money ain’t good money, and sometimes slow money was the best money. They never took heed to his words, there was a hunger and a thirst these little ghetto kids needed to quench. Bianca was high as shit when she heard her cell phone ring, it was big cousin Mayhem. She wondered what the hell he wanted. Wassup, she answered lazily. Yo, sis this ya brother, he said. I’m stuck in the city at this bitched crib. I need you to find a way to come pick me up. Diddy’s phone is off. Maybe you and Bougie could get one of the crack head rentals and get me the fuck outta here. This bitch is trippin’. I ain’t feelin’ it,’ Mayhem said angrily. Where the hell you at boy? Bianca asked laughing at him. On the west side, you know the spot, he said impatiently. Bianca sighed, I will hit Bougie and we’ll be there in about an hour", and disconnected the call.

Bianca quickly called Bougie and asked him to take that ride with her. The two were too young to drive legally, however that didn’t stop them. Bianca felt more comfortable having Bougie with her. Bianca gave Gloria the local fiend an eight ball of ready rock and took her car keys. We will be back in a lil while. You got more than enough to get your geek on, she and Bougie laughed and went on their way. The whole ride was silent; the two teenagers were high as hell, and a bit paranoid driving on the highway to get Mayhem. The weed had them feeling too good. It was a thirty-five minute ride to the west side. On their way, they listened to Mobb Deep. A CD in which they played all day every day. When they finally pulled up it was 12:45. Mayhem smiled when he seen the car pull up. Those two are thorough as shit to be so damn young. I thought they would call me back and say they couldn’t make it happen, he thought. Then again, Bianca was cut from a different cloth than most young girls her age. The three laughed and smoked trees the whole ride home. Mayhem drove. Bianca rode shot gun while Bougie played the back. They rolled three blunts, and by the time they got back to the home front they were extremely lifted. Mayhem and Bougie dropped Bianca off first, and then toyed with the crack head rental for a little while before taking it back to Gloria. When they dropped the car off it was close to 3 a.m., Gloria was high as a bird. Mayhem and Bougie pollied with her for a few and then went home. They had business to attend to early and they definitely needed a few hours of sleep. Diddy would be waking them early. They had to go re-up early in the morning. Diddy was all about business.

After getting dropped off by the fellas, Bianca went to her room and checked her caller I.D. She noticed Shine never called. She fixed a sandwich and went straight to bed. The next morning Bianca was awakened by her phone. Really? She screamed Who the fuck is calling me this got damn early? Bianca hissed. Yeah, she answered. Good Morning, I apologize for calling so early, but is Bianca available? Bianca instantly recognized his voice. She played the dummy role and asked who was speaking. This is Shine, he spoke gently. I hope I didn’t wake you, he said noticing that she still had sleep in her voice. She looked at her clock and noticed that it was 8 a.m.; she had to be up in the next few minutes anyway. She and the crew had a meeting with Raul their plug, so she knew she couldn’t sleep in anyway. Business came first always. Her mother had worked a double shift, so she was rarely home and when she was she was getting caught up on her rest. Bianca did her own thing. She was very responsible, she knew how to maintain. Another life lesson her father Jason had taught her.

Shine apologized for not calling the previous night; he said he had went out to dinner with his family. Bianca understood. Just as she was about to reply her phone beeped. Hold on sweetie, I have another call, she clicked over and Yohon was on her other line. Yo, get up and make sure you’re dressed. This shit should only take a few hours then you can go back to sleep. I heard you and Bougie went to pick up Mayhem and ya’ll got in kinda late. Just be ready and make sure you got that loot counted and ready, he said with authority. Nigga, who the fuck do you think I am? I got this. Since I’ve been doing this the last two years, ya’ll numbers are looking better and that I do know. Look I am on the other line, so I will see you in an hour, she said clicking back over to Shine. I’m sorry sweetie. One of my brothers is giving me a wakeup call. We have a few things to take care of this morning. I should be back home a little later this afternoon. So when can I see you? he asked in such a sexy voice, forcing Bianca to smile. You can come by tonight around six or so; I won’t be doing much around that time. So if you wanna see me I will be here waiting for you. We can chill. So I will text you my address and I will see you tonight. Can’t wait", Shine said and hung up the phone.

    Chapter 7

After she hopped out the shower she proceeded to get dressed for the day. It was only 9 a.m. but as usual Bianca dressed the part. She had been doing the dress thing ever since she was a little girl. She always had gear. Both of her parents made sure of that. Now at 14 her style was off the chain. There was nothing that she didn’t have. Closets full of clothes, shoes and sneaks. She had it all, and now that her money was flowing, her closets were too small for all the clothes she had. She found a cute pair of capris and a halter top, and threw on a pair of white uptowns and she was good. Even in the early mornings, the young girl had swag. It was in her genes. She went to her closet and opened her safe and pulled out 10,000 dollars and shoved it into her knapsack. She waited for the fellas on her stoop and like clockwork they were right on time. She heard Diddy’s system a mile away, that’s just how loud his system was. Greeted by hugs and kisses, she and the crew proceeded to head to their destination, with one thing on their mind. They laughed and talked shit on their way, while smoking some haze that Yohon had on deck. Bianca was indeed tired from the night before, but when it came to business she made it happen, just like on the basketball court. During the ride, they discussed future endeavors and laughed about everyday hood shit. The fiends and the bootleggers who was always trying to harass them. They always wanted something from one of them. Bougie was the nice guy, he would give anything, just a kind hearted dude, meanwhile Bianca and her cousins gave nothing. If you weren’t family, fuck you. That was their motto. Shit they only rocked with certain family members as it was.

They arrived at Raul’s house right on time. Not a minute too soon and not a second too late. Raul was an O.G... He used to get money with Jason before Bianca was even born. Diddy met him at a pool hall. They began to converse. After a series of questions and answers, Raul found that Diddy was related to his old partner Jason. They began to build a relationship. He looked out for the crew for real. He remembered when Bianca was first born, hell he knew her all his life. It didn’t surprise him that she would follow in her father’s footsteps. He remembered Jason schooling that little girl at an early age about any and everything. She was her father’s daughter. Bianca respected Raul like a god-father. However she wouldn’t let him beat them in the head with his prices either. They were bringing him major money twice a month and Bianca wanted to get those prices even lower. Raul was a man both feared and respected, however not many people would dare challenge him and his authority. Bianca had been thinking that if they could get their prices lowered by five grand, they could afford to cop an additional 3 more birds. She had ran that idea by Mayhem and Diddy, but they told her to chill and let them do the negotiations. Raul offered the crew something to drink, however they declined and just wanted to get the business at hand squared away, so that they could get back to the home front and get ready for distribution. As Mayhem was about to speak, Bianca cut him off him off. She looked Raul dead in the eye, and spoke with such authority; he had to pay attention to the young lady. She reminded him of his deceased friend. With all due respect sir, we are bringing in a lot of money. We are really trying to cop more work from you because you have the best on the streets. If you could drop the price on each bird by five grand, we can cop an extra three. That way we only have to see you on the first Tuesday of every month, instead of twice a month. Neither party is drawing any unwanted attention. We are really risking our freedom going up and down the interstate. I figure we could make some sort of deal. We will honor our obligations to you and only deal with you. She passed him the book bag that had a total of 50,000 grand inside. Raul counted the money, and then was silent for a brief minute. Initially Mayhem was pissed at Bianca for doing the negotiations, but he had to admit, she was business savvy. None of the fellas could do what she just did, and they knew it. Raul looked at Bianca and smiled. I think I just found my golden girl. Because of this young lady and the respect that I had and still have for her father, your uncle, we have a deal", Raul said enthusiastically. He knew that with his protection and their will to come up, there was no stopping them.

"B ianca that was brilliant, Mayhem said giving her a salute. Where the hell did you learn how negotiate like that, he asked truly impressed. Bianca sat back with her spliff and replied, I learned from the best. His name was Jason Davenport, she replied referring to her father. Mayhem gave her some dap then sat back in his seat and let it all sink in. We about to see major figures, he thought and he knew he owed it all to his cousin/lil sister Bianca. Let’s make sure this product moves swiftly, Bianca said. Raul set them up lovely. Since he was a seasoned veteran, he had his people take it and unload it for them at their secret location. He would never forgive himself if the youngsters got caught with that amount of work in their possession. Bianca had a promising future ahead of her and in Jason’s honor, he planned to look out for her as much as possible. By the time they arrived at their safe house, Raul had already called and let Diddy know that the product would beat them there. Raul was connected like that. After the crew successfully stashed their product, Diddy began making the necessary calls to alert their clientele they were back. Everybody’s phone lines started buzzing. They had their neighborhoods on lock, and everyone under their umbrella knew the quality of work they would be purchasing. They all had loyal customers no bull shitters. Bianca realized that it was growing late and she had to get herself ready for her date with Shine. She still managed to make a few stacks before she went to her apartment to get showered and ready for her date. Money came first. She was a hustler and nothing would get in the way of her cash flow. Not basketball and definitely no nigga. She rushed to her apartment to get ready, but not before stashing her dough. After she put her money up she got in the shower. After copping that weight and being outside in the heat, she showered for about twenty minutes making sure she was feeling fresh and clean. Being around all that product and sweating all day she felt extremely dirty. Now fresh out the shower, she began to search her closet for something official to wear. She was born a fashionista, and nothing would or could change that. She began to lotion up, using her favorite lotion made by Bath & Body Works. She loved to smell like a lady at all times, even on the basketball court. That evening she would be in the presence of a handsome young man, so she definitely wanted to look and smell the part of the young boss that she was. While lotioning up, her cell phone began to ring. Yo, what the deal Brotha she asked. It was Diddy on the other end. Yo sis, I need two more of those things now. I got 1800 for you, and I will leave it at Aunties in our secret spot okay? Brother, you gotta give me a few. I’m getting dressed right now. As soon as I finish, I will hit you right back. Cool? she replied. Hey, where is Yohon or Mayhem? That’s who dropped me off home. See if they can handle that. I don’t have the crack head rental at the moment, she replied They had moves to make. I suggest you make it happen however you got to. We on some shit. Put your game face on and meet me in a half hour, he said with authority. Got you. Bianca said and hung up the phone. It was now 5:15, and Bianca still had not figured out what she wanted to wear. With closets, two and a half to be exact, full of clothes, she finally selected a yellow Polo shirt made for women, sexy Parasuco jeans, and a pair of yellow and white uptowns. She placed a beautiful pinky ring on her finger, a beautiful diamond encrusted bracelet, her yellow and white Ann Klein designer watch, and was ready to roll. She looked at herself in the mirror and knew that she looked good. She always did. She had gotten her hair done earlier in the week, so she was totally on point. Shine would definitely be impressed. The time was 5:50. Shine would be arriving anytime, yet she still hadn’t taken care of business for Diddy. She knew in her heart that Diddy was having a fit, he was about that paper and had always been. Now with Raul’s blessing and protection, Diddy was about to rule the streets with an iron fist. Procrastination was not an option where Diddy was concerned. The funny thing was, for the first time in a long time something other than money and basketball was on her mind.

    Chapter 9

It was 6:05, and Shine was supposed to be at her apartment by six sharp. One thing Bianca despised was a late nigga. That was a pet peeve of hers. She called Diddy and told him that she would be arriving at their aunts in about fifteen minutes or so. He must have had enough grams to hold him over because there was no animosity in his tone. He just told her to hurry up. Bianca was headed to her mailbox, when she spotted a gray Mazda 626 with tinted windows. Her first thought was somebody was trying to stick her up. She had left the .380 Mayhem gave her in the apartment. Being a young
