Jack sat at the bar, nursing his vodka tonic and watching the people come and go. A group of rowdy guys on one side, a couple giggling on the other, but no one interesting caught his eye. Until he saw him.

Dylan walked in like he owned the place, leather jacket and scruffy beard. His eyes were piercing and his lips held a smirk that sent shivers down Jack's spine. He was a walking danger sign, but Jack couldn't help but be drawn to him.

Their eyes met across the room, and Dylan made his way over to Jack. Drink alone? he asked, leaning against the bar next to him.
