In the chilly month of December,
A young woman named Amber,
Picked up a crochet hook,
And took a determined look,
To make a scarf that would never be a slumber.

And worked her way through again and again,
Adding stitches and rows,
And all sorts of crochet pros,
To create a scarf that was longer than ten.

She crocheted through the days and the nights,
And occasionally paused for a few bites,
Of cookies and tea,
And maybe some brie,
As she worked on her scarf with all her might.

Finally, after weeks of work,
She completed the scarf with a final jerk,
And held it up to the light,
