Preface
This book is intended to allow the reader to envision themselves as the detective. These stories are fiction but entertaining and will stimulate your curiosity. My desire has been to bring to life these stories and others to test the reader’s wit. The foundation of each story is the same. As the detective, you must figure out ‘who, when, why, & how the culprit accomplished their killing(s).
I would like to thank God. Without my Savior, this book would not have been achievable. It took strength and focus to commit to this year and a-half project.
I still have a love for solving sleuths and enjoy attending them wherever and whenever possible. This collection of murder mystery anthologies is my second endeavor at writing sleuths. I can only hope this collection of stories is just as enjoyable as my last. Commitment

DEAR DIARY
SUNDAY DAY 9: Dear Diary, I believe I have finally found my home church! After spending my last two months dating. I truly feel this church is right for me. Everyone there seems so friendly_ almost a little too friendly. However, the congregation is so vibrant and warm. And, the Bishop is young but so mature for his age. However, for some reason, every other word he said to me came with a hug. I can tell he’s a ‘Hugger’. I actually visited the church on a good day. Today was Women’s Day. I was flattered to find out that I wouldn’t be one of the youngest members there. And, speaking of ‘young’… there were a lot of young girls pregnant at the church. I wonder, Diary, was that a sign from God? You know I love children and would do practically anything in this world for them, just not any of my own. The secretary, Mrs. Crystal Marcus, and Mr. Erik Archer, the treasurer, said that if I make this church my home and do everything, I’m supposed to do I could one day be in charge of reading the announcements. I met Mr. Darwin and Ms. Wise, the two administrative officers, who looked like they are more than just fellow members of the church. Bishop Flynn seems like a very nice man but very private. Whenever he talks to you, it’s in a low-like whisper_ like everything he has to say is a secret. Elder Henry Richards is Bishop Flynn’s boss but he doesn’t say much. He just stands around, sort of listening to what everyone else says, and laughs where he feels it’s appropriate. And, the clergy seem so protective of Bishop Flynn – in some ways like they’re his bodyguards or something. It’s kinda hard to explain.
Diary, you should see the way they act. There is one girl in the church named Courtney Turnage who has told me a little bit about everything! She’s around my age but a few years older. She’s already started telling me about some of the ins and outs that go on in the church. Diary, can you believe she told me that someone in the church has VD or mono!? But that’s
not stopping any of my blessings. I could care less!
Anyway, Diary, stay tuned because you know I will keep you posted.
WEDNESDAY MORNING 13: Dear Diary, what I am about to tell you, you cannot tell anyone. Oh, my God_ heaven forbid if I ever misplaced you and someone was to find you…! The things I am about to share with you on these pages must remain between you and me! Courtney Turnage, the girl I met, or should I say the girl who met me -- told me that the Administrative Assistant use to be in a relationship with Bishop Flynn’s boss. And, that the bishop’s wife also had a thing for the Administrative Assistant. Then, she told me Mr. Archer gave Ms. Marcus mono. Diary, I think I should reconsider making this church my new home. But what took my breath away is when she told me Bishop Flynn was on his third First Lady and she spent twelve years in federal prison for who knows what!
Diary, I don’t know. But when I know, you’ll know.
FRIDAY EVENING 19: Dear Diary, I have spoken to a few of my friends about remaining at my new church. I’m torn as to whether I should stay or go. The things Courtney has told me appear to have happened in these people’s past. –And, the Bible says, Thou Shall Not Judge or Pass Judgement.
Besides, I enjoy the Sunday services. So, what should I do? I do wonder sometimes about the validity of Courtney’s information. I’m also not exactly sure why she has taken a liking to me. Why is she so comfortable in her sharing? I think one day I’ll ask her.
But, how can I believe such unorthodox stories about members of this church? I wonder if I’d be wrong for attempting to confirm Courtney’s stories, she’s been feeding me? You know, Diary, I am an inspiring writer and reporter; something like this would give me the start that I need in my career. _And, for the first time in a long time, Diary, I would have something to write about (if it’s true). So, later for now but as always… I’ll keep you posted.
WEDNESDAY DAY 24: Today, Diary, was a good day. Bible Study was ex-cel-lant! We opened the study with prayer; then, read from Ephesians 5:25 and Genesis 2:24. I noticed some members looked a bit skirmish as we talked and discussed the word. And, as always Bishop Flynn broke it down to give us insight into the scripture. Courtney came and she sat beside me and talked almost the entire study. I’m not really sure why she came! Diary, don’t get me wrong… I wasn’t trying to be mean. She mouthed the words while Bishop Flynn said them aloud. Then, she mimicked the bishop’s words precisely word for word as if she was reading his mind. I don’t know if it was just a refresher for her but I needed it. At the end of Bible Study Courtney decided to walk with me to my car. On the way to the car, she told me the bishop’s wife went to prison for abduction, kidnapping, and child endangerment. She said Bishop Flynn’s wife liked taking children from schools, hospitals, daycares, and foster homes. I asked Courtney if she did these things because she used to be a Social Worker or Child Advocate but she shook her head no as she rolled her eyes; giving me this strange stare for asking such a question. Courtney also told me that she got to help care for and raise some of the children First Lady Flynn abducted. How crazy is that? I think Courtney tells me these things just to get a rise out of me. But, Thou Shall Not Be Moved
.
MONDAY DAY Entry.31-32: Dear Diary, yesterday after church Ms. Marcus approached me about helping out more around the church. She asked if I’d consider children Sunday School. _Again, another message from God trying to tell me something. But I told her I would think about it. Ms. Marcus hinted to me that that would be one step in the right direction. Diary, I probably will do it. It would give me a breather from Courtney.
Speaking of Courtney… I want to tell her so badly about space and boundaries but I don’t want to hurt her feelings. She has made herself a little too available for things I like to do. My friends, back home, think she’s creepy. I just think she needs other activities in her life to occupy her time. She’s just so uninteresting to me. The things she talks about are boring. For example, she recently told me she got her license and her mother won’t let her drive anywhere but to church because she doesn’t drive well and there aren’t a lot of people out on Sundays. I guess, Diary, in her mind that’s something to celebrate. And, she constantly rambles and talks to herself, like in other voices and stuff! OMG!
In addition, Diary, before you say anything and
