About this ebook
Sex and Religion have always been a huge talking point that never ends. We seem to always have do's and don'ts but no one seems to take a moment to educate us on how we are supposed to act in real life. So from a young age to when we are adults the blurred lines continue and to a large extent they never really get addressed until it's too late. This book will detail the trials and tribulations of how a young boy turned into a man battling the never ending challenges related to sex and religion. He documents one of the most taboo subjects of addiction and mental health issues all the while trying to inspire the reader with scripture to help get a deeper understanding of what to do when similar circumstances arise. This story is a modern day confessional as Meet Luminous bares all and reveals his scars and wounds with hopes that you also will find the courage to open up about your own wounds and scars.Sex and Religion have always been a huge talking point that never ends. These are the confessions of a fornicator who was brought up in the Christian Faith but always struggled with lust and a sex addiction. He chronicles his wins and losses, highs and lows as he embarked on a journey to heal, fight his lustful desires and hold on to a faith that saved him.
Editor's Note
When I first went through this book I thought to myself, I could never be this honest. With myself, maybe but with the rest of the world, not so much.
I was wrong, as I went deeper into the book I realized Luminous had done me a great service, he had already told my story for me, the story of almost every young man I know.
That is how powerful his story is, it's the confession of a million men that grew up without proper role models, a testament of a society that pulls down more than it raises and a chronicling of how Jesus is the only true solution. This book allowed me not only to see him but also see myself and the error of my ways. I hope this heartfelt testimony does for you what it did for me.

Chapter 1:
Addicted
Hi, my name is Luminous and I am a sex addict...
This is the part you say Hi Luminous!
Well, I was born in Bulawayo in a neighbourhood called Nkulumane. At the impressionable age of six my family split and the streets became my second family. I learnt a lot of good stuff, but with it also came the bad. By the time we were in the first grade we were being taught how to hit on a girl and practise was never on young girls, it was always with older girls, maybe that explains why I have a thing for older women.
When I was six years-old I was caught by my neighbour in her house, in her bedroom, inside her wardrobe, making out with her daughter. To some it was just child’s play (Amathophe/Mahumbwe) but to me a monster had been awakened deep inside. By seven I started learning about the female anatomy, and the guys teaching us were giving points to kids who came back with smelly fingers and since these guys had become the
