Buster is experiencing the rumblies about joining a new race team. He is unsure of his ability to do good for his teammate Jimmy Jam and Hog his coach. He had been let go by his previous team and was nervous about doing the best for himself and his team.This is a good book for life. Children will learn about perseverance and confidence in yourself.

This book was way too long. It led to reading drifts. The illustrations are fantastic. So are the explanations in the beginning and the end of the book about different racing terms. I do not know if this is the first Dale Earnhardt Junior kids book but if it is, before he puts out a second one, his coach needs to work on pacing of a story.
