Situational Awareness - Michael Morton
Chapter 1. Situational Awareness
Situational awareness can get you out of a violent confrontation or a potentially dangerous situation. It is a powerful tool that utilizes not only the clearly observable, but also the sixth sense
. Gut Feeling? Woman’s Intuition? Yes indeed, and is it ever powerful, IF you develop it.
What Is It?
Situational awareness, or SA
is the use of the sensory system to scan the environment with the purpose of identifying threats in the present or projecting those threats into the future.

SA is paying attention to what is going on around you.

With the multitude of information coming in every year from police officers, military personnel, and victims of crimes, a cutting-edge movement began to understand and implement situational awareness. A lot of people bled, suffered, and died, so that we may understand this information and apply it to our daily lives and to those of our children.
Let's break it down further.
Chapter 2. What Is Your Sensory System?

In the following article by Anne Kamiya, written in 2022, she details not only the function of the sensory system, but eight senses
that contribute to the totality and functionality of the system. Other authors and contributors in the field pontificate that there are more than twenty-five senses! This survival tool refined by millennia of adaptivity is our
