Law of Attraction for Common Man - Ratheesh Vidyadharan

Chapter 1

Enthusiasm: The Introduction

Several times I read Mr. Joseph Murphy’s book during the lockdown days. In the beginning, it was a little challenging to understand the idea he preached in his book, though I have been keen to know about the application of law of attraction.

Among the many, the lockdown was breaking me down financially. Due to flight suspension, I couldn’t go back to Saudi Arabia to join the duty. It was an anxious wait. The restless wait was unbearable. I heard with annoyance that over 100,000 expatriates were waiting to return to the Gulf and open the flight in my little Kerala alone. Slowly, I recognized I needed to uplift mentally to face these corona days.

I kept my days busy by attending classes from the non-profit organization, The Art of Living Foundation, led by Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji. He was offering daily meditation at noon and night on those tough days. I joined many sessions, and I became not tensed and felt light though all my income stopped.

I’ve read it in many places. When you feel good, your mind will become pure, and good things will appear in front of you. Please don’t apply any logic here. This knowledge is beyond reason.

Really, I don’t know. Things appeared in front of me one by one, and concrete steps appeared in front of me to walk through.

During the Internet surfing, I found the Malayalam version of Mr. Murphy’s book, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind. It was in June 2020. Though my mind was not mature enough to apply the knowledge from this book slowly started using the precious idea to return to my company to look after my family.

After four months, in October 2020, my dream journey manifested. I traveled from Kerala to Saudi Arabia via Dubai.

This book is my experience with the application of the law of attraction. I did not make big companies or multi-billion bank balances. But the knowledge of law of attraction gives me to walk through these tough corona days amid several financial and mental collapse stories. I am excited to share this knowledge with all the youths, the unemployed, and the family heads.

The law of attraction has been my favorite subject since 2003. After reading The Secret in 2008, I studied with interest. I understood it, however, that Murphy’s writing touches on a more practical level. It was during this lockdown that the need to use law came to life. I have succeeded in small experiments. Let this knowledge is helpful to my companions.

I recognize that everyone in a progressive way must understand this knowledge.

The economy is down all over the world, and most places are in lockdown. The shop is closed. Very few institutions open in the daylight only with the permission of the government. If you want to get out, keep the certificate in hand and show the reason for going out. People are staying at home—the days when the world has shrunk to the individual.

Almost all income of the common man was closed, business was reduced, lifestyle softened, EMI stalled. I believe that in this situation, this knowledge will help ordinary people to survive a lot.

So, I decided to write this book.

It is a little difficult for intelligence to understand the knowledge that is usually available in connection with the law of attraction, so let’s share with you the little things I’ve learned and experienced simply that the average person can understand and use.

Read this book several times. If you understand the idea of this book, it will change your life.

Let’s end this chapter by telling a real story. It is the story of a Jew born in 1948 to Donetsk (then called Stalino), a Russian town. Natan Sharansky was a human rights activist. In the 1970s, he organized many campaigns for the rights of Jews, and the Russian administration convicted him in 1977 for allegedly spying for the United States. He spent nine years in a Siberian prison.

. His prison life was tough, a small room. He spent days and nights on the ground, where there was no bed, a chair, no table, no place to lie straight.

He used to do small exercises. He decided to play chess to spend time. There was no chessboard. He set up a chessboard in his mind. Who’s the opponent now? The game is in the mind’s world. Let’s world champion play on the opponent role.

He started playing chess with the world champion in mind. Natan won every game.

Nine years. Every day Natan beat the world champion by playing chess in his mind.

Because of an international campaign led by his wife, Avital Sharansky, they released Sharansky on 11 February 1986.

Sharansky immediately immigrated to Israel. In 1996 he became a cabinet minister.

October 16, 1996, this was the news in a newspaper that landed in Jerusalem.

"Russian Immigrant Minister Beats World Chess Champion"

JERUSALEM – Natan Sharansky, the Soviet dissident-turned-Israeli politician, defeated world champion Garry Kasparov in a chess game on Tuesday.

Kasparov, a Russian citizen, was playing 25 games simultaneously, usually taking less than a second to make each move. Sharansky, whose game ended first after three hours of play, was elated nonetheless.

When the media asked him about this victory, he said Nothing exciting. This is natural. My mind is naturally in victory mode when I face this game.

What does Natan’s experience teach us? Can you tell me something? This experience is about an incredible superpower with visualization. When the mind gets to practice, it will naturally do the tasks, no matter how big it is.

Chapter 2

Creativity: Initial Requirement

for the Manifestation Process

Sowing in your mind will reap in life.

It is crucial to understand the basics before you learn the sequence of applying the law of Attraction.

It is like getting a lot of crops in good fertile soil; the calmer our mind, the more quickly our intentions will be fulfilled.

Be happy or feel good is the key to becoming an expert in law of attraction.

Success is directly proportional to gratitude and happiness.

How to increase the feeling of happiness and gratitude?

It is easy to say feel good. But as a human, it is not easy for everybody. So, I desperately want this knowledge to benefit people who are suffering so much in society. In this scenario, we can discuss the subject of being happy in a convenient way.

You may have your own style and techniques to be happy. If that’s comfort, you can practice it. I like to share with you what I understand and practice.

We will learn the LOA essential in the next chapter, and in this chapter, we will focus on mind matters. How to keep the mind calm, happy, and serene.

Breath is one indicator to assess the quality of the mind. The longer your breath, the calmer your mind. Quality of life = Quality of mind. Many ancient texts and teachers of India have contributed to this subject. The Ashta Vakra Geetha and the Pathanjali Yoga Sutra are books that provide in-depth knowledge of the mind through experience.

They gave a definition to tension.

They said that when the energy decreases, the mind turns to stress, and when the energy increases, the mind also enters relaxation.

How to increase our energy?

There are four sources of energy: Food, Breath, Sleep, and a Meditative mind state.

For me, food is a choice of an individual. So not interested in going deep. Be sure to eat fully digestible foods.

Breath

Breathing is a significant source of energy. There is a solid connection between the breath and emotions. Have you observed this? When you are angry, how is the rhythm of breath, fast, right? When you are in joy, the rhythm of your breath is slow and long.

Sudarshan Kriya is a world-renowned yogic Breathing Technique.

I practice it daily. This breathing is only can learn from one teacher. Sudarshanakriya was given to the world by my beloved master Sri Ravi Shankarji.

Meditation

Meditation increases life energy.

The benefits of doing daily meditations are many; some are providing below:

Keeps you stress-free

Reduces aging

Add more hours to your day

It helps you appreciate life more

It helps you feel more connected

It makes you and those around you happier

Improves functioning of your brain

It helps you have a good night sleep

It improves metabolism and helps to lose weight

Increase your attention span

Increase immunity.

Meditation will make the mind happy and calm, and that state of mind is an essential source of energy.

When coming to meditation, there are general and custom meditations for individuals. Gurudev Sri Sri Ravisankar Ji has given a custom meditation technique, SAHAJ SAMADHI. This meditation is unique for each individual. This can learn only from a certified teacher from the art of living organization.

A night of good and deep sleep is another source of energy, as you know well.

By attending all the above four sources of energy, one can increase the happiness state of mind.

For me, the formula for happiness is 4 S. That is SADHANA (Spiritual practice – Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama), Seva (Service with our expecting anything in return), Satsang (Company of good peoples), and Smile. For me, these are the four pillars of Happiness, like the Four legs of a chair. All four pillars need equal attention and practice.

The experience of regular practice is indescribable.

We all have a habit of making new decisions on New Years’ and birthdays and so on. I will get up at 4 am every day, stop smoking and walk for an hour every day. Likewise, how many decisions? How many days did it take to go on? A week? Some people may be able to continue it for a long time. I call them lucky. Seriously, they are fortunate.

There is one thing that the losers need to understand. You have tried to change something that has been practiced in your mind for years with a decision. Your intellect, mind, and body have not been accustomed to it for years. It’s a new thing for it.

It takes a lot of training to get out of the old habit. Many people give up halfway through their decision without realizing it. This is an important point.

We only make decisions. But no one tries to train the body, mind, and intellect according to that decision. Only very few people strive for it.

A closer look reveals a mistake we made here.

A smoker decides to quit smoking. His mind, intellect, and body have been very much in tune with the habit for years. Stopping smoking is not something you can do with just one thought. It takes a great deal of effort to get out of the habitual home. It may not happen overnight or for a week.
