For just one day, I’d like to be a busy, buzzing bumble . . . BEE!
What child hasn't pretended to be a monkey, a bear, or a bumblebee? After imagining the fun of transforming into a variety of animals from around the world, a sweet ending reminds little ones that the very best thing they can be is exactly who they are.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A cute story about a boy who dreams of being an animal for just one day. The illustrations are unique and not typical as the animals are dressed up and doing unusual things for that specific animal, but it was refreshing to see the little boy's imagination and why he chose to be that animal. It would be a great story for little ones to get their creative juices flowing and hear their responses to why they would chose an animal and why they would choose that animal. It could definitely be tied into other class activities or to an art project. Plus the rhyming features are great for little ones beginning to read and learning about phonemic awareness.
