At one time in their career or another most authors used pen names and Silverberg was no exception.In fact, he used more than 40 pen names that we know of. Today’s story was written by Silverberg as Alex Merriman. From Monster Parade Magazine in March of 1959, the first story in the issue can be found on page 8. It looked human–except it was inside out!
